Whether that be learning together with a friend of equal skill level, watching a guide or two. Me personally i just liked getting my ass handed to me in ranked play until i was forged enough by the cruel adversity to understand the game….

Nothing can ever recreate my pure terror during my first ever fight against Forsburn in Rivals 1. My friend and I were playing the game for the first time and decided to just hit random on every round until we had tried all of the characters. On one particular round, he ended up with Forsburn. At some point in the match, he said, "Wanna see something cool?" and then used his clone ability for the first time. I yelled, "WHY CAN YOU DO THAT?!" as he ran around the stage to confuse me with the clone and said, "Go ahead, take a chance."

Meanwhile, my single hardest cpu fight (in some part due to being new to the game overall) was the final fight in Forsburn's little storyline (against 2-stock cpu Zetterburn), since Zetterburn's kit is so much more direct/intuitive than Forsburn's.

I struggled with Forsburn vs Zetterburn fight the story mode as well because his moveset just breaks my brain (that is, he just spams down and side special 80% of the time, and if you try to get near him he hits you with a heavy hit and because you're on fire, sends you flying across the screen).

Im new to the rivals lore but never new forsburn was zetterburn’s brother but it all make sense now, one is the smoke and one is the fire, one is dark and one is bright, and they both have burn at the end of their names 😮

Their father was Renburn. Forsburn was set up by his double, Zetterburn fought him and chased him away, Forsburn met the Smoke Clan who taught him smoke stuff and got the skull mask. That's his story. Neither is really evil in the end.

@@videogamebro9112 Nah. More just Zetter being in the army (literally a general) and Fors being a diplomat + assassin. Two different roles that had them being away a lot, so they never saw eye to eye as in, they never really talked much and stuff. Both are good guys, Zetter's just more influenced by the emperor (who is Loxodont now after Renburn's death, and Lox is the bad guy), but does begin to doubt him according to his story. Like at the very end of it.

@@videogamebro9112 Yeah, and the "light" referencing Zetterburn in the trailer is because he was a hero to his people, while "the shadows" is literally referring to how Forsburn was more of an assassin, so literally working in the shadows. Just to clear that one up. There's a video out there somewhere that explains like all the lore including Dungeons of Aether lore, so if you're interested you can look that up too. It doesn't go into names, just like the general overview and key details (so, if you plan on playing Dungeons, might contain spoilers, but that's like a dice roguelike, just putting it out there, Fleet is from that game, and the game is canon).
