Listen, it's easy enough to make 10 or so minute of a fight scene but a fully planned out 1-2 hour live action with a plot? Not so much. Even the dialogue was cringey at times. Even if this man did make a live action you would still assess it on different standards because it's a fan project. You can't really compare it to live actions with that level of differentiation and bias.
@Evilofhumanity
@Evilofhumanity 2 жыл бұрын
@@kuroarts6139 I was actually refferring to the fight scenes, but the thing is, yes, they were only trying to work on the fight scenes. But my problem with other live actions stems from the fact that they do a shitty job at following the source material (Most of the time), not really the fight scenes. And if whoever is in charge gives more time and puts in a little more money, the fight scenes can actually be good like this. If these people decided to make a live action, yes it would be a fan project, but I feel like it would be better because they wouldn't do any of the dumb things I mentioned like not looking into source material enough and giving themselves the proper amount of time to make the special effects work. I feel like the only problem would be the lines being cringey, but that's a problem with live action as a whole, not just one or two works (Lines they say in anime are always cooler in Anime, but in real life? Meh...)

I love the depth we get from Backtrack's quirk just by watching like a minute long flashback. First of all, it seems like his quirk is a sort of variation of his mom's quirk. I'm guessing she could teleport any objects she chose to any given location within a certain range. Whereas Bactrack does the opposite and teleports himself to an object. But that's the obvious stuff. I find the potential of his quirk to be more interesting. Teleporting to his keychain is already a broken enough ability, but I doubt it's actually limited to that. He's currently limited to the keychain because it has the most sentimental value to him, and he unlocked his quirk for the first time when that sentiment was being threatened. At some point I can see him unlocking the ability to teleport to multiple things of personal value to him, or hell, maybe just any object in his surroundings. This is all just a crackpot theory based on the minimal evidence given in the video, but that's the fun of these sorts of things.

Mann if I was wealthy I would bankroll the fuck out of a full series for this. There's already so much development that went into building the story of this hero and the villians when this could have simply been "cool fighters doing cool fights, something something My Hero Academia." Nah, this is a well thought put, well scripted, beautifully acted, choreographed and edited work of art. Fantastic job to everybody involved.

Love the teleportation quirk. My only gripe is that as someone who wears glasses, he’d definitely wouldn’t have taken off his, cause depending on how bad his eyesight is, he would’ve made himself effectively blind. Iida is actually a good example of a hero who wears glasses and still fights with them. His official suit has a helmet but he doesn’t wear it all the time especially when he’s training. He still doesn’t take his glasses off and it’s shown that he even has a collection of spare glasses in case he breaks his current ones which is honestly the most realistic representation of a hero who wears glasses
@BeeCygNus

@@BeeCygNus you can start wearing glasses at any age. 10, 15, 17, 20. Just because you didn’t start wearing glasses early in life, doesn’t mean you can’t need and start wearing them later. Seriously I have watched this 3 times now and I cried and had goosebumps each time......... seriously this is equivalent to Goku on Namek reaching Super Sayan without the 30 minutes of stock magma flows........I know I have said this already but I think this is my new favorite anime and that fortune cookie hit the nail on the head "genius is capable only when enthusiasm is involved" holy gaggle of grasshoppers grail gobblers this is Naruto fighting Pain hype throughout. Seriously I knew it was the keychain, and the fact that I knew how it was gonna go cause we all love anime here, that did not detract from the experience. Please please please make this happen #releasetheUALAcut all seriousness I think this is the best summer action film to have come out this year. The tragedy that was and is MK 2021 was washed from the few folds I have on my grey matter and that is thanks to these heavenly 15 minutes. Action, intrigue, betrayal, and a common cause to tie it all together. Best action film, best story, best choreography, best in show. This could work. This is the problem with Hollywood anime adaptations - they're always trying to re-do the original. Making a spin-off instead means the creators have more leeway in defining the setting, the characters, the premise, the story. Anime is deeply rooted in Japanese culture and it's basically impossible to bring this culture to the US. It's not enough to say "Deku is now American" and then do the same story beat by beat. This is merely 15 minutes worth of story and we already have a clash of characters, clash of ideologies, deep backstory to multiple characters and impressive fight scenes with just as impressive VFX and a nice reference to All Might shouts which also stands on its own. It's the exact opposite of what Hollywood does and it deserves to be made into at least 8 episodes series.

That was amazing!!!! I loved the concept of a UA Branch school around the world. With the live action My hero Academia coming up, I'm already anxious. But this video had put a smile on my face and I loved ever single second of it!

@@shikoome Well, technically not dubbed (as in putting a translated audio, e.g. Japanese to English) but still they spoke English so there's that. The Japanese parts are subbed English. He means there are both English sub and audio / dialogue.

This HAS to make it. Not even because it's MY HERO but simply because the screenplay ain't no slouch at all. I wanna see this win

Every fucking studio that wants to make an anime MUST. TAKE. NOTES. This is how you make an anime live action. This doesn't include any of the original characters from MHA, but it made anew and yet is completely undistinguishable from the source material because it very simply matches the atmosphere, the feel, the beat of what the show is supposed to be.

This has to be the best anime live action creation I've seen ever...I keep coming back to this video and rewatch the film work, acting, and vfx, it's incredibly detailed and captures all aspects of how an anime fight feels💯. Outstanding work👏🏼👏🏼
