Stunning scenery. I can't get enough of your videos. O have watched everyone of them and they are all awesome. Even though as you mentioned these were clips; you did a great job of seamless integrating them all together. From the glaciers, to the frozen rivers, to the grizzlys, to the salmon, to those fast flowing rivers in those steep canyons, to those Wrangells Mountains......WOW......you can easily see all the experience and skill you have from flying in this area. I would love to see you do some Vlogging. I understand you have limited uploading capabilities; but you could maybe mail your finished videos and have a friend upload them for you. If you have the time, I'm sure your videos would be a huge hit. Thanks for the new video it was awesome !

They using tubular spars on the Shock's wing, like my RANS S-7S ? Mine weighs, with 29's, extended baggage and fuel and several other mods that add up the weight, 780. I'm trying to account for the 852 pounds your bird weighs, some in the turbo install of course, some the gear I guess.
@AlaskasFlyingCowboy4 жыл бұрын
Yes tubular spars...So for weight I guess the turbo, the main landing gear and especially the tail gear with its heavy shock. The flaps may weigh more, and the whole tail section I believe is considerably bigger...It weighs more than I was expecting

Hi Gary,what engine have you installed on this zlin? Have you flown in the past the super cub? I am thinking to buy or the outback shock or a super cub, but i need to understand what will be better operating on up hill strips in the alps in Italy. Is the zlin strong enough for that? or better to go on an experimental super cub or something like that? Thanks for your answer. Ciao Federico.

Mesmerizing! Hard to put that footage into words, well done. Thanks for sharing! What’s the highest elevation you’ve landed and taken off from?
@AlaskasFlyingCowboy6 жыл бұрын
I've flown it to 12,000, but the highest landing was in a small mountain pass right at 7000. The take off was down slope so it was no effort to get airborne
