There are better drags on other reels but nothing has the same sound no doubt :)

Well if low water and debatable runs on our North west England and Wales rivers has been hard,then the sound of the reel and sight of your fish has raised morale.Conon would be a tidy drive,and I might get tempted by Tay...or Ness!

Thanks Simon there are plenty good rivers up north depends if you like a big river or smaller. The Conon is good and usually consistent in terms of fish, the Ness can be less so. The Findhorn or Spey are also good or for smaller rivers Deveron, Nairn, Alness can also be good.
