River-Day with Huckleberry and First Ride!

Today we travel to the river for the first time with Huckleberry! This video is full of firsts for this boy, including his first time swimming and being rode! This was Huck’s first lesson as well while being on our farm under my train and let me say, he learned a lot!

Your biggest problem with him will be trying to keep him out of your lap..lol. I had a Morgan who was extremely sweet & gentle but liked to ignore personal spaces! It got better after he was gelded & he ended up going to an older woman who really needed a bomb proof ride. Just have fun & keep loving what you're doing & you're already rich!

Utilizing the water for training is quite ingenious really. The horse's are hot from making the trip to the river and are definitely having fun cooling off.By the time you get on thier backs, they just don't care because they are relaxed and feeling really good. A plus on this methodology. And best of all, "nobody gets hurt".👌😁.
