Great to see you back for a new river season! The dawn chorus was really special. Well done on a cracking barbel so early in the season. I started on the Trent in opening week only to discover that the barbel had just started spawning. I’ve had two trips to the Wye and the same number to the Trent but it has been a real struggle for barbel with the rivers so painfully low. Plenty of chub though.

Hi Harry, The Wye has been a hard mistress so far this season but has continued to keep me entertained with her many moods. I forgot ask about the bait container on your belt. It seems to be of a solid construction. Can you give me any details of the make , price etc?

@@harryturner3063 Hi Harry, It's the Drennan Eva pouch the zip can be a bit sticky at times but I certainly put it through its paces by squashing it down to fit in a bag at it's held up. I noticed a few other brands are offering the same item just branded differently. Hope this helps and thanks again for your support.
