All my dogs and potbelly pigs have liked beer. A cooler full of beer, left over from Thanksgiving was on the deck. I saw half of pig outside the cooler...the other half was bobbing for cans. Galileo perforated several and was slurping away. He looked at me with a big a$$ grin, appeared to belched several times as he staggered away and took a looong nap. He woke up with a hangover because all he did was drink water....after that day, if anybody popped open a beer can, he would run up and demand a sip. You learn not to deny nor argue with a 400 pound pig. However, after eating some fermented watermelons when he was younger, he never ate another one for 15 years....that one was a nasty hangover....

Fun Story, growing up at a B-Day party for my stepgrandfather our dog got drunk from beer from the band (County Line) named as the members all were from a county line including the farm was on one. Next morning when she came out she put her head down and tried to close her ears with her front paws and wimpered. She had a hangover and after that she refused to touch beer again. She was a poor sight that morn. Another thing she was known for is she hated anyone with a hat on, even us. Take it off and she would calm down but put a cap on and she started to growl and bark.
