I dont think a video made me cry more than this one. The purity of those people... and discovering the essence of meaning (connection) through such a spiritual sense in a way was very deeply touching. You connect to these wolves not through words but through energy, which has to be felt to be understood. And that energy can only come from a place of authenticity, a place from deeply knowing yourself. You're all inspiring us to really look within as well, so that we can have space and be prepared to look outwards. Thank you. If you want women on your adventures, or a woman in the camera crew, TAKE ME AWAY. TAKE ME. I WILL PUT MYSELF IN A SUITCASE AND COME WITH YOU. I'm about to go solo travelling for the first time this summer. And no one else inspired me more to do it than you guys. I'm at a crazy pivotal moment in my life where I have to decide "what's next." But if I could be a part of YesTheory in any way (I love being YesFam already more than anything, and a part of the bootcamp that just happened too) but if i can be involved first hand in these adventures in any way, sharing these stories and showcasing a deeper connection and meaning with the world around us, I would go and not look back. I love you guys, keep doing what you're doing.

I remember when I was 14 I use to walk past this cafe that had a German Shepherd that would go absolutely mental whenever anybody walked past, it was chained up and I had never seen anyone interact with it ever, to me it looked lonely and I could sense it's frustration and torment of being neglected, so one day I walked down their driveway and stood just out of the range of the end of its chain and we just looked at each other, it took about 20 seconds of staring at each other until the dog recognised that I meant it no harm and it completely changed it's behaviour and instantly became happy, so I walked right up to it crouched down and started petting it and it went crazy with happiness licking me and wanting all the attention I could give it, so I went and spoke to the owners and they straight away said oh no stay away from him he's very vicious you can't go near him, so I was like actually he really likes me and I'd like to start walking him daily so I took them out the back and showed them how he acted with me and they were stunned that anyone could get near him, they agreed to let me walk him and I formed a very beautiful strong relationship with him I walked him for like 4 hours a day, at the start of the walk he'd be dragging me but by the end of the walk he'd be so worn out I'd have to drag him lol, I took him out bush and we climbed mountains and swam in rivers and do all kinds of cool things together, he was such a good boy his name was mango.

@@sinisterintentions3273 I have a story similar to yours but it was with a wolf dog instead
@0fficialselena__902 жыл бұрын
@@sinisterintentions3273 It actually started when I saw someone posting about how they lost their wolf dog. I love nature and going out at night when the moon is in sight so this was going on for a week and within that week especially when I came back late from work, I started to notice small things going on around me and I had a weird gut feeling but wasn’t sure when it was coming from but it was very strong and my ears would always start ringing which I got a little worried when walking home. So this actually happened last week, when I was doing a closing shift at work and I went outside and I would see a huge dog because that’s what I thought it was just a regular dog but this “regular dog” was being attacked and it was bitting back at them there were people coming down and cops who would take care of it but luckily it was able to escape although it took a few mins for me to realize this wasn’t a dog and it matched the picture of the poster of the wolf dog missing so I went to go look myself even when I wasn’t prepared because this is still a wild animal. So now it was like 1 in the morning since my closing shift ended at 11pm, I went out to the music garden that I have that is just a walk up the road since that’s the direction the wolf dog went it, I found the wolf dog but it was hurt and bleeding from what those people have done onto him to be honest with you I was scarred to go up to it but I just wanted the wold dog to notice my appearance once it did it got angry try to scar me off but I had to show the wolf dog that I wasn’t a threat so I’d walk slowly towards it every time and slowly the wolf dog got comfortable started sniffing me so I just sat beside the dog and I tried to ask consent by putting my hand infront trying to clean off the blood without hurting it and good thing I did because the number on the poster I called them and let them know where I am then we call for an emergency but the owner she was very happy and very impressed due to the fact that me and the wolf dog were cuddling with one another. I felt really good about myself because the hospital said if I didn’t try to stop the bleeding nor clean it up, the wolf dog probably wouldn’t have made it, but it really shows that these animals are more afraid of us than we are of them and all these animals need is trust, loyalty, love and support and once you have that , you can establish a strong genuine bond so I do hope that this world gets better and we connect with nature and animals again.

I too cried and I watch animal/nature videos almost daily since I was a kid we gotta do better to protect these animals truth is they maintain the wild ecosystem. Wolves are the best. They, like all dogs, can sense emotions, especially those of their human. The difference with wolves though is how communicative they are and how everything is community. I rescued a wolf hybrid pup and he lived for 11 years, he was the absolute best and so easy to train. He was so emotionally connected and protective with me. When my father passed I went to a dark place and didn’t want to get out of bed but he would howl then come and comfort me when I cried, he’d put his head on my face or my chest like he was trying to hug me and tell me I’d be okay and he would literally force me out of bed and force me to go outside. I remember when I was little my dad's friend owned 2 wolves and they would often leave me in the enclosure with the wolves unsupervised because the wolves would chase them out and keep them from getting near me and my brother. they would treat us like their own pups and refused to let my dad take me home until they were ready to let us go. I would fall asleep on them and when they woke me up they were so gentle. they would even push my brother away from me when he was mean to me and comforted me if I cried or got hurt. they are the reason for my love of wolves and that is why I want to work with wolves in the future. I hope to one day have enough land to open a wolf preservation to breed wolves for release into the wild. I also hope to one day have the funds to donate to places that work toward saving the wolves. @sergeantskrtskrt95942 жыл бұрын
@J W The majority of wolves are hunted for the money or fun to my understanding. As well as encouraged by the inactivity of most big corporations regarding our natural habitats. It's highly unlikely that a Wolf would exit a forest and start mass murdering people. If this was another country with overwhelming wolf populations. I could understand the hunt, but these animals are getting closer to extinction. Same with Bald eagles and other animals. Most of these are no threat to human society. We also do not have an intrinsic 'fear' of them, quite the opposite since wolves are generally seen as adored creatures, we have a fear of being attacked by a pack of them when we're alone. Again, unlikely to even face that fear because they avoid humans that are not intentionally trying to get closer to them.

Ok, so I'm a fairly based woman, wife, parent, animal lover, cat slave and former veterinary assistant. I know if I die and my cat or dog is stranded/trapped with me and is starving, chances are I will become a meal. So there's no over emotional boo hoo hooing here, that's just survival right? I've also watched countless wonderful women pour all their maternal emotions/energies into their animals, in the absence of their own offspring. In fact I'd wager this lovely lady, amazing job though she's doing, does not have a family of her own, and is filling the void with "furbabies" as many do. I certaintly hope not, as the world and the wild desperately needs more kind souls like her, it would be a travesty to not pass down all her wonderful work, knowledge and conservational progress to the next generation. Though hats off to her, she's not adopting a load of handbag sized "teacup" bred fashion accessories, she's actually making a difference. Alas I digress... Point being, when I was a kid I had a cat that I rescued as a stray kitten, he used to follow me all over, wait for me after school, lay with me when I got sick etc, and he was so protective he would mew, squawk and cry out anxiously whenever I cried. If I was upset, angry, in pain, wounded, unwell - anything that caused me obvious distress, caused him distress. Even as I got older he'd scream at my bf when we were fun fighting if he thought I was in danger - I sh*t you not. So some animals/pets really can connect with human emotions that bit deeper than your average, we're not just a source of food, shelter, safety, survival, companionship etc to them. We are part of the "pack", dare I say the "family", kind of how we see them. Obviously I've had dozens of cats in my 40 year life, and only observed this protective and emotionally concerned behaviour in 1 individual, and he was a special creature indeed. It was a privilege 🖤🐾🐈⬛

Recently they parachuted (literally) in Canadian wolves into the Michigan wilderness to get the moose population under control after it grew too much because you had killed your own wolves. How many Canadian wolves survived being parachuted into unknown territory, how many were shot by American hunters because they were off the endangered list, how many were separated from their packs? When you reintroduced lynx to Colorado from Canada, half our lynx died. Stop killing your animals and stop making up for it with Canadian animals you then endanger and kill. I felt this strange pull, something tugging at my heartstrings when the wolves howled for Paula. It's as if there used to be once upon a time this profound, ancient connection between humans and wolves which was tarnished over time, waiting endlessly to be restored before its too late. I guess it'll be one of mankind's gravest mistakes to let this connection sever itself so meaninglessly, and allow these creatures to fend for themselves against an increasingly greedy, unemotional world of human scum. This was so moving. This is something I truly wish to experience someday myself.

You can get a wolf dog, you can rescue one too, a lot of wolf dog hybrids are at risk of being put down at shelters because of their nature. You can also get one from a breeder. I honestly had small tears in my eyes 😂 Its so sad to see that we were once friends, even more than friends in fact in the past. They even called us part of there pack, and then years later we just left them without us. We shut them out, and yet they called us a part of there pack and we had to go destroy that trust between wolves and us. If only I wasn't a child and if my family actually had enough money to donate, I honestly would. Its so sad to know that these creatures actually care when we feel sad and yet they might be gone forever. Its my dream to see a wolf one day and spend at least 3 months with them, just to see what its like having a wolf see you as them and to actually care when you feel sad. I feel so alone in this world, I wish someone would actually think about how me and my mom feel right now and help us. Sadly, me and her don't get that a lot. I wish I was a free wolf, surrounded by humans that actually let wolves be who they want to be and be free spirited. Instead, I have to face Tue fact that I won't have a good father or anyone with me to understand me except for my mom. I hope enough people can find a stop to this with all animals in general and stop the extinction with these poor animals. There so intelligent, even more intelligent than a billion humans that it makes me sad that I'm a human.

I've volunteered at a wolf sanctuary before because all my childhood and teen years wolves have followed in me dreams and symbols. When I finally met them in person it was the best thing because they showed me my own humanity in themselves. I really feel that heartbreak for the lady and sobbed myself. The sober and dark reality is we have to stop taking everything, stop expanding, stop the greed. Unless we stop, wolves and many other wildlife will go extinct, and that's not even factoring in how bad climate change is likely to get. Its bleak but fighting for a better world is the right thing to do, a world with understanding and wisdom.

@@lurinix That is awesome. I have very vivid dreams too. Some of them I try to make into poems because explaining them is hard. Here is one such poem: O' I remember the baleful animal clamoring Dreaded horror abides And unrelented breathless flight Condemnation from history and time had decreed Upon the dark multiforme beast that chased me in my dreams Vilified were you in the common myths thus careless spread The cries of fearful children echoed from then Confounding patterns and stories ladled out With stitches in the patchwork noose From these gaps poured the crimson font of ancient truths She was present the whole time That ineffable beast My heart drummed with terror whenever she appeared As one or many Smoldered eyes bore from the dark Fangs snapped against shame And upon guilt she clawed Ripping me from certainty and casting me into doubt From expectations in which the spirit of the time proclaim one devout What turmoil art thee? Why flood the estuary with tides of pain and agony? Contemplation wells Though your silent footfalls elude me Childhood sets into adolescence And I grasp for the reigns of passion My hands burn with endearment And pangs of sadness twist within It was then that you showed your form to me You stepped into the light A reflection bent upon a tarnished mirror She-wolf black as Dusk's creeping shadow Eyes burn amber like sunlit beads on bloody trees Under your ruthless scrutiny Watching canvas as I move my wayward brush Outstretched for you as I pray you accept my touch As a goddess, as a maiden, as a mystery Hath thou called my spirit into being? A spirit that heeds you and follows you With brush strokes and wayward prose I didn't know it then; as around us the chaos began to whirl That tumultuous labor yielded the portrait of the soul In adulthood from backwards mind I now reflect You appear in dreams now and then Leading my spirit into fire to breathe life into its ash From my heart these words your stalwart silence said; O you who seek to live in a world that wild wolves roam And find with mortal hands such plains unreachable Yearning for this makes your iron cage and all its murders visible From you I take all and give to you to serve as a vessel You feel intensely, and I embrace you when your raft goes under Billowing storms aloft with birth pangs of rain and thunder Some days watching you as a distant, disquieted mother What you wish for I know you cannot yet bear The freedom that the wolf has is unimaginable to modern man Prometheus disowns his shadow and tries to banish it with culture's light Trying to curtail his animal nature with reasons made irrational His thoughts source from the same tyrant hunger As the eagle's that ceaselessly feasts upon his liver But you blew out your lantern and listened to us howl in the night You're ambivalent because this makes the threads of fate most visible. Life is precarious and beautiful You see flames of transience in your tears Now you drink from the brook my trail has lead you to Tongue laps at the waters to fill the vessel with wisdom You wonder what good this is for a beast of the earth? Convalescence sprouts from soils of ash's dirge Scent and sound are wolf's philosophy Sight, taste, and touch are wolf's joy Wolf's thoughts are clouds bourne by winds of passion While wolf's waking days indistinguished from wolf's dreams As wolf's body weathers with the lapse of seasons The wick of wolf's candle barely holds wolf's flame Declarations don't arise from wolf Nor morals to put life to shame Wolf's song affirms all that whirls and clashes within wolf Wolf sees no valid use for any cage By wolf no shadow of doubt has thus conspired Against the luster of life's triumphant fire Which lights the brimful silver of Fengari's nightly reign From Sol's benevolent gold which yields the day Self-contemplating shadows are all swept away

I'm studying conservation and this brought me a new fire, passion, and interest into my field especially giving me more drive to help save these amazing animals. Thank you once again Yes Theory for broadening my horizon with your incredible videos x

Bears are another one who get an undeserved reputation. Are they dangerous? Fuuuuck yes. Are they out hunting for human? No. Not at all. I've run across bears several times in Montana, and all but one sprinted away at full speed the second they saw/heard me. Only one who didn't was a grizzly who had a cub with her. Biggest problem is that it's super unintuitive, but it's important to make your presence known in bear country as soon and consistently as possible. People intuitively try to stay quiet and unseen in the woods, and then they wind up sneaking up on a bear, and chances of an attack skyrocket when that happens because they get hit with fight or flight and feel the need to defend themselves.

yeah it's pretty... odd, how much demonization of animals occurs in cinema. Well in the majority of cinema. I've seen some movies and shows that portray animals justly. But still, the majority is just portraying a scary looking animal in a way that's completely unrealistic, just in order to create some massive villain of nature.

@Lisfa Ensa 📽️ Romans 10:9 says, "If you confess with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved." If you trust that Jesus died for your sins and to receive new life through Him, pray a prayer similar to this to express your repentance and faith in Him: "Dear God, I know I am a sinner. I believe Jesus died to forgive me of my sins. I now accept Your offer of eternal life. Thank You for forgiving me of all my sin. Thank You for my new life. From this day forward, I will choose to follow You."

Has some lies too. So, I was intersted before the bullshit started. 1. Wolves don't have one alpha, and a female wolf is not the 'strongest' alpha there is (not any general rule at all). This doesn't make sense. See wolves as a big family, no one is 'the strongest' (neither male or female). What matters more is experience. 2. There is no singular leader, again. Wolves are a big family and there is no one 'alpha', the alpha theory was destroyed a long time ago, but as a stereotype it fails to die. Yet don't be mistaken, it is a lie and people just deny letting go of it. Just like in human groups multiple people can be in charge of something, and 'alphas' / leaders change depending on the task - Since experience matters. There is not one alpha who is great with all of it, wolves change and look up to each other. So it's more like a pack of betas (highest ranking members), who change to alphas depending on what's needed. This makes sense, as you can't be a leader at all time, this would only provoke much agression. When a certain wolf knows better they just listen to him/her, they don't have to beat any 'alpha' to do so. 3. There are other members (below betas), and they most likely wouldn't have the leader role at all (only them). They are valued still. You shouodn't see them as the most weak, more as the most care free wolves. Being the leader is the most stressful, and being below beta offers the least amount of responsibilities. So you often see younger wolves in this position.

Thank you for another great and important video!! They are such beautiful animals. Breaks my heart that they and so many other species are going extinct because of humans. Animal agriculture is the leading cause of deforestation, mass extinction and environmental pollution as well as one of the top 3 main reasons for climate change. The farmers and meat/dairy/wool/egg industries want to keep natural preditors off their farm land and that's why they kill wolves and many other animals. Obviously there are also people who hunt them for fun. It's so disgusting and cruel. I sincerely hope that animal agriculture will go extinct soon and not more wild animals. If the majority of humans would eat a plant based diet and eat lab grown real meat from cells, the mass extinction, deforestation, environmental pollution, world hunger and climate change would stop. As the United Nations have already said and confirmed in 2010: "A global shift towards a vegan diet is vital to save the world from hunger, fuel poverty and the worst impacts of climate change." We feed 80 billion farm animals every year but we can't feed 8 billion humans! This is because the majority of plants/grains on this planet are fed to farm animals instead of humans. If the land used for animal farming and the plants fed to farm animals would be used to grow/feed for humans, world hunger would not exist anymore. Other farm land could be re-wilded with forests, flower meadows etc for wildlife and to take C02 out of the air. This was already successfully done in Costa Rica. Vertical plant based farming would also save land.

Hey everyone! I just wanted to share some good news with you all. Let's just put it this way, the Ten Commandments are called the Moral Law. Ask yourself this. How many lies have you told? Have you ever stolen anything? Have you ever used God's name in vein? Have you ever hated someone or ever looked with lust? This is for you to judge yourself, but chances are that you are a lying, thieving, blasphemous, fornicating, adulterer at heart and you HAVE to face God on judgement day. Now ask yourself this. If God judges you on judgement day by these Commandments, will you be innocent or guilty? Of course you'll be guilty because we've all done these things. The truth is that none of us are good people and we NESD God's grace to make it to heaven. We judt simply cannot do it on our own. These Commandments arecalled the Moral Law. You and I broke the law, Jesus payed the fine. So now what we must do to be saved is to repent of our sins and trust alone in Jesus Christ! To repent doesn't mean to just say I'm sorry, but to turn from our sins and let Him truly be our Lord continually. He said that many will say to Him, Lord, Lord I have done all of these things for you. And He will say I never knew you. Depart from Me, ye who work iniquity! And those will be cast into outer darkness and raging hellfire and loneliness for all of eternity!!! Because we broke His law, He is very, very just to send us to hell. If someone had murdered 4 people and said to the judge, I've done nice things too and have tried to treat people nice but it was just one time, the judge would then say, okay but you're going to jail. And the judge is very just to do that. One last thing, if you were 10,000 feet in the air and you had to jump, you wouldn't jump out and flap your arms and try to save yourself. That's ridiculous! You would put on the parachute. It is the same with Jesus. You must trust Him as you trust the parachute. We are not good and we cannot save ourselves with our own goodness. We must trust alone in Him to save us. In just a moment of time you can pass from death to life. Jesus said, "Verily, verily I say unto you, you must be born again." That is how we enter heaven. Through the blood and grace of Jesus Christ!!!!✝️If you ask someone how to enter Heaven, they will most likely say, "Be a good person." Well the Bible says that none is good, no not one. We like to compare ourselves to guys like Hitler and say, "Hey, I'm a pretty good guy compared to him." But when we compare ourselves to God's standard, we realize that the Bible speaks truth when it says that we all sinned and fallen short of the Glory of God!!! When we see this ( our sin in its TRUE light), we see how much trouble we are in and we say, "Well then there's nothing I can do. I'm going to hell for sure then." It's true that there is nothing that WE can do, but there is something that has already been done for you! God sent His One and Only Son to die on a cross as a sacrifice for our sins! So to recieve that eternal sweet sweet forgiveness, all we must do is repent of our sins (meaning to continually turn from them and confess them) and trust alone in Christ as you trust a parachute. If I was to push you out of an airplane, you'd want the parachute for sure! Don't try to flap your arms and save yourself, trust in the parachute! His finished work on the Cross IS ENOUGH!! He is the only way to Heaven, He said it Himself!! These other religions teach that we must he good and do good things and then maybe if we've been good enough, we will enter Heaven. But if that is true then we are all doomed to eternal hell because none of us are good. That's why this makes sense. Look at the Ten Commandments, they are written on your heart right now! I promise that you have violated them. And you might still be doing that today. Therefore God is just to poor out His wrath on us because we deserve it!! But Christ died for us so that we can spend eternity in Heaven with Him! Turn to Him today, and He and only He will save your soul "Verily, verily I say unto you, you must be born again ( to go to Heaven)."✝️The true joy of Christ dwells in me!!! Does it in you? I know where I'm going when I die! Do you? I have an ETERNAL victory! Do you? I have more joy than ever because of what Christ has done. I have been down both roads. The road of the wicked and the road of Christ. Christ is way better and my cup runneth over with true joy and salvation. If you do not know the One true God and are not sure of your salvation, I promise He will never fail you. Turn to Him in repentance and faith. Repent means to confess and forsake your sins, never turning back to them. I tried changing on my own but I couldn't. It took the power of Christ on the inside of me to do it for me. He will give you a new and clean heart with new and clean desires and you shall be born again. A new creation in Christ Jesus!! Hallelujah! Jesus said in order to enter the Kingdom of God, you must be born again! Thank you Lord Jesus!✝️

My family and I did a morning hike with Paula and Steve and three of the wolves today for my father-in-law's 80th. We got to meet all sixteen wolves afterwards. It was a very cool experience. They are gorgeous sweet creatures. You sit in the wolf den and they bring them out several at a time. You get to know their individual stories-- many of them comeback stories from a difficult rescue. You see who they are now-- healthy and loving-- and how they fit into their pack. There was a wonderful sense of respect and awe from both wolves and people as we greeted one another. We were sad to leave. They howled when we left to say goodbye. Just incredible energy from those sweet animals.

I love this! We really need to bring more awareness to the wolf extinction crisis, they are much smarter and kinder than regular people believe them to be. I live in Idaho and my family owned a wolf when I was younger. There were so many people who were hateful towards Odin just because he was a wolf when he was a loving, smart, playful, and protective animal. They deserve to live just as much as any other animal does
