Lews are shit. All the American branded reels I've used have been shit for the price. Lews, Penn, Mitchell they're all jarg, other than Abu I stay Asian when I buy, daiwa, Shimano, okuma etc. A 50 quid daiwa or Shimano reel feels as good as a 100 quid Lew's reel.
