amazing rev control John. I love my EXP, but would LOVE a full vent like you have, as Pensacola Beach has some awesome winds

Hi Jason! Aye, venting gives smoother flight on a Rev, provided you have the wind for it. :)

7. Long tip drags across the water. ( 3:45 ) 8. Landing in and riding the water flow. ( 4:28 ) 9. Playing, interacting with dogs. ( 4:54 ) 10. Landing on walls and ceilings. ( 5:29 ) 11. Just about perfect conditions, maybe 8mph. Some of my favored maneuvers in this video: 1. Tip drag on water, in reverse, difficult direction to do it. ( 0:17 ) 2. Landing on both tips at the same time, from any entry. ( 0:30 ) 3. Traveling bicycle rotations, R-L and L-R. ( 0:43 ) 4. Walking on water, 'nuff said. ( 1:43 ) 5. Fast bicycle rotations, right above the water. ( 2:27 ) 6. *Snap 45* landings on water's surface. ( 2:34 )

@Dot2Kode : Correct, identical spars... 3 wrap... EXP rods are all-black (unlabeled), the usual 3 wrap rods have "Ultra Light" or three feather icons on a silver or gold label... Otherwise the same. ;)

Haha, thanks - I love to fly. If you haven't seen them already, do KZbin searches for "kymera kite seaside", "barresi scratching the surface", "urban rev kite party", "dock play 3", "iquad bohemian" and "flyform windless" for some more fun videos. :)

@B00MRR : Thanks a lot, it's great fun to fly and actually much easier than it looks... Obviously it takes time to really master, but we do clinics worldwide to teach, plus the Rev community is SUPER friendly and helpful - there are fliers pretty much everywhere. ;)

to allow a kid near those skinny lines is asking for trouble... a cut eye or face is too risky. I've flown a Revolution (the original and the smaller versions) and most of th other stunt kites. They are not toys to play with.

I'll assume you know who John Barresi is and if you don't, look him up. He's got years and years of exhibition performance experience around kids under his belt. Still, there is always the chance...

+Brad Maestas I understand his concern, it's a fair one in most cases. That being said, I'll defer to a perfect record of zero injuries in 25 years of performing in, on and around people of all ages in 18 countries - nobody should drive cars at 200 mph past the public (ala NASCAR) - it's all a matter of what people believe the control potential is for these kites - there is a professional class of flier, albeit a very small one. :)

the competence of the flyer does not undo the ignorance of another person running up to a kite. To not warn a person away from the lines is unprofessional, if you want to stand on that 'credential'. do what you want. 99.9 % of Rev flyers are amateurs.

+Doug H. in VA - I respect your opinion and understand your points, again, I'd agree in almost all cases. I have specifically trained in some of the worst, most variable conditions you've ever seen, which I believe has allowed me to find a level of control with my quad that I think most people don't fully understand. No slight to you, again, I get it and am not looking to change your mind - just continuing the conversation - thanks for caring enough to engage. 👍🏻
