I remember seeing so many fireflies growing up nowadays we see maybe a few every year. We sure had fun running around in the evening chasing them. Dawn, I would be the one to drop my treat as well hehe

Awesome video! Great group of friends....thanks for showing the synchronous fireflies! My son recently went on a camping trip and said they roasted marshmallows and used fudge stripe cookies instead of graham crackers and chocolate.

We used to tent camp all the time, even when our kiddos came along. Now in our 60's too many little aches and pains to do tent camping, so we rent cabins. But those precious memories!

If you put a piece of foil over the burgers while they cooked it would have helped them cook faster. Good to see you all together again, its been too long

Roasted rice crispy treats. Will have to try this. We take sugar cones, add chocolate chips and mini marshmallows I layers. Wrap in foil toss in fire for around 3 min and eat. You can make them at home, if you don't want to do them at camp sight.

We had lightening bugs that lit up to the songs by captain n tennille songs, mostly the song muskrat love up in Michigan when we lived there.

I love this video it was absolutely beautiful and I use to catch fireflies when mom and dad and me had land and but I let them go and dance with them we had this huge yard. This brings back memories for me thank you guys for doing this it made me smile. ❤️

Great video. I have always loved watching and catching lightning bugs or fireflies as some call them. Interesting tidbit. This year up here in southern Indiana I tool my gf and her kids to this place I had found by the river that had thousands of fireflies. They were putting on a show like I've never seen them do all my life here in s Indiana and s Illinois. It was like a disco light show. I've never seen the ones in the smokies so I can't compare. I had always heard those were only in the smokies but I think that has been found to not be true. I just know I've never seen that in all my 55 years of lightning bug watching up here. Even in my younger years when I used to see areas with lots more of them, they never twinkled like that.

My friend and I packed a screen house and tent and everything we needed for a week into a Chevy geo lol We camped at Waldens Creek Campground that has been around 15 yrs ago our screen house was identical to yours it was screened all around
