RIVER RED GUM - Eucalyptus camaldulensis - Beautiful Australian Acoustic guitar tonewood set.

Eucalyptus camaldulensis, commonly known as the river red gum, is a tree that is endemic to Australia. A familiar and iconic tree, it is seen along many watercourses across inland Australia, providing shade in the extreme temperatures of central Australia.
I've never seen a Red Gum guitar before. Yet another species I'm excited to build with (I've already started), this Model M will be for stock, let me know if you'd like to snag it!

I deserve this tuners because I am probably fan número uno for a long time. Also I bought a 1958 Hofner Senator that came without tuners and it deserves to be restored and played again. If this is still not enough, I even promise I have now changed my opinion and think your guitar are better than Dion’s 😂😂😂😂

As an Aussie, so proud too see so many Australian tonewoods introduced in recent episodes. I am in process of constructing my first acoustic guitar featuring Tasmanian Blackwood/englemann in a workshop at Sydney. Just finished my bracing on spruce using falcate bracing pattern. The instructor said this system is much easier than x-bracing while still producing a super responsive and balanced guitar. Perfect for noobs like me . Just wondering if bracing patterns could be your next Luthier WTF episode topic :)

Currently looking to change careers and I have been collecting timber species to develop into new guitars. I am slowly acquiring big ticket equipment and have milled timber for years. The ever daunting accumulation of sourcing hand tools is the biggest battle. Tools they are the connection to the timber. The unofficial sacrifice TO CREATE MUSIC. We use other material but timber is magnificent. Those tuners are essentially one of the tools for the musician. Projecting sound to as many ears as possible. I may never be a Great Guitarist. But God damn do I love playing. I would put those tuners on a epiphone les paul 100. It just needs about everything to make it a real guitar but it's nasty and loud constantly needing to be squealing. I think I play it more than any guitar that I've ever owned. I am looking forward to making a les paul custom imitation out of some quilted corymbia calophylus that will put the les paul with fiddleback cap on slash's custom range to shame. Never actually felt excited about work before in my life until now. Those tuners would probably look great on that too when it gets created. I have a nice piece of walnut I was given with quilting in that I have used for some wiring covers and truss rod covers and even a 9v battery holder on a seagul acoustic I have that was butchered to fit in the godin control for the pick ups. Completely ruined the tone and support in the body. I used some River red for the blanks to fill the voids left and a assortment of other small timber blanks to make a carrier inside affixed neutral to the body with a massive tidy of the horrible wiring I'm hoping that works out to be enough. Personally I'm not a big fan of acoustic amplification with a active or passive pick up the body should be enough. Have you any history with river redgum to confirm its tonal compliment to any other timbers?

I would like/deserve to win those gorgeous tuners because I am trying to learn to build guitars and I'm pretty sure that the only way my family will allow me to bring anything else guitar related Into our apartment is if I win it. They've been understanding so far, but everyone has their breaking point.

Yes it can be quite brittle; do you use the re-inforced cloth/epoxy method when bending brittle sides; i have seen it recently on Ken Parker's videos; 'Archtopery' ; it looks like a handy option for bending highly figured woods. I would never have considered River Red Gum for a back; perhaps for an electric guitar body. I have a railwy sleeper post that looks like it is very heavily figured; so i might give it a try. THANKS

Maybe I could have those waverleys due to the fact that I'm now convinced to within a reasonable doubt that you have run out of actual bonifide tommys tone woods to feature, and have begun nefariousy making up your own ...? I have a bit of a way with names so please help yourself to some of these if you need them; Flarkspould, Rutland hazelnut, Cornish Monteray Pine, Shaballadoose and finally Um. 🖖

I would love to win the tuners I subscribed a while ago and enjoy the channel and to be honest I have nothing that goes above 18.1 21.1 so these would allow me to tune three higher which has to be better right.
