I fished the Ribble for pike on the same week as you, but on a different stretch (although further downstream). I had no takes, but my Dad had lots of chub. Nice video from a great fisherman. Thanks.

That pike was an awesome fish and a great video. I have only caught one and it scarred the life out of me as it took a small roach I had on the pole believe it or not. Does your day ticket cover for night fishing as the majority of info I have on my wigan angling card is for no night fishing ??. Does anyone ever check, Bailiff etc. Great video 👍
@PikerBiker5 жыл бұрын
Night fishing is permitted on free stretch, PAAS and RADAC club and day ticket. Day ticket for salmesbury ticket from tickled trout garage allows night fishing away from farm. Free stretch is by far the best pike fishing although the salmesbury area is a;so very good mate. Thanks very much for watching mate

Cracking video. Saw some of your other videos late last year and had to head up to the ribble and give it a go... had a cracking winter season. Is this the Prince Albert or Wigan daa stretch by any chance? I’ve only fished the day ticket stretch although I do have the Albert and Wigan cards. Top angling!

leebussell1991 Hi mate! Thanks for watching and the nice comment! Glad you had a great Winter on the Ribble. Great stuff! Where I fish is the Radac and Paas stretch mate. On the PAas bank. Looking forward to some fly fishing for the wild brown trout from this stretch! It’s a great bream water early season from June into July
@leebussell19916 жыл бұрын
Cooper Trooper hoping to give the PAAS stretch a go through the warmer months for the chub and barbel, saw a fella having a few barbel around the 10lb mark on the day ticket stretch. I’ve only fished it for the pike so far and had a 22lb 8oz fish out twice in a week (it’s on my profile) among quite a few other smaller fish. May see you on the bank and keep the videos coming
@PikerBiker6 жыл бұрын

Great video piker. Never caught a river pike but had one on reeling a roach in at the bonsai nursery years ago. How did you find the fight compared with barbel? I'd imagine barbel fight much better even though your pike was 17lb.
@PikerBiker6 жыл бұрын
samsung s5 barbel go for prolonged runs but the River Pike fight hard under the rod tip and go for short runs, however, I find live baiting, the pike tend to fight harder on the first take. A different experience to the barbel but one that is just as enthralling! Thanks for watching as always!
@samsungs-sh1wv6 жыл бұрын
I've not been fishing for a while. But got the bug again lately so started watching your videos again. I've put my name down for Prince Albert. I think it's about a 2 year waiting list at the moment. Does Prince Albert have more stretches on the ribble than RADAC do?
@PikerBiker6 жыл бұрын
