they filmed parts of this near where I live. I was about 12 and I rode my bike over and watched them film some of the scenes by the river. We were all standing on the bridge just out of view of the camera. The only actor who stood out was crispin glover because in between takes he was jumping around in place like a boxer and he kept dropping to the ground to do push ups. He never stopped bouncing around. Extremely wired.

Tuxford at Sunland, in Sun Valley. It was hard to confirm because nearly everything has changed. The Tuxford sign isn't there. All the buildings are either new or covered by trees. These is a brick wall with a metal fence on top in front of the apartment complex across the street when she get out of the car. That's the only thing that looks the same now.
