caught a sea trout from under the bridge near Scotswood on Saturday, are they rare I'm new to the area, was fishing a flapper with just straight mackerel :)

@@northeastangling over 5 sessions IV had 12 fish, 1 sea trout and 11 flattys, I'm from hull just bought a new build on Armstrong road, the flattys I catch on tbe number are small compared to the one IV been catching hear, couldn't believe my eyes with some of them almost the size of a dinner plate 🤣

There are some great spots on the Tyne, Wear and Northumberland coastline Iiam. Your going to be spoilt for choice!
