That was a great video. Good to see the river looking so healthy, many years ago we used to stop at the Wey upstream from Farnham on the way down to the New Forest, it was still crystal then, with shoals of dace and minnows so it's good that the water quality is still excellent. 😊

One of my favourite stretches for many years. Every time I come home and visit my family in farnborough I always have a session on the wey at Farnham. Fishes very well in winter and full.of trout chub and millions of minnows

That wasn't a brown trout at 230. It may have been a fry atlantic. idk. Thanks for the catch and release of all the fish though!

Love this stretch ive had chub to 6 just down from the park and have as you said had a carp from in the park by the concrete pad bit at just over 10lb, floating crush for chub, took me back abit

Well done that's a huge chub for such a small river. I've never had one over 4lb at Farnham

@@oman9492 I know! Always full of surprises this river but only ever take the big chub out of 1 swim i didnt see you fish it here though, never know maybe ill see you down there one day! I kind of fish the swims between the swims you fish in this video
