Hey Dustin. Love the channel and love what you stand for. Great message everyone needs to hear for sure. Couldn’t have said all that better myself. Keep up the great work and the good Lord will do the rest! 20 years in the Military and 23 in Law Enforcement and it was my Christian faith that got me through the tough and good times. God bless you and your channel. Great content. Been doing this survival Bushcraft stuff for 45 years. Primitive skills too. Stay safe! Your welcome at my fire anytime brother!!

I always listen with interest when I hear people talk about religion and the bible. I'll be honest I haven't a religious bone in my body. I believe we came from nothing and we will return to nothingness, but again It doesn't stop me listening. I'm glad you got your life on track through your beliefs. The fire kit haversack is a great addition to the kit. Also bushbox XL for the win)😂

Glad you still watched. I really appreciate that. I'm very grateful to be where I am today. There was a point in my life where I didn't know how long I'd last. Thumbs up to the bushbox XL! 👍 The Firebox and the bushbox are still competing for the #1 spot for me. Thanks for sticking around, man! Neck knife video up tomorrow or the next day

Yes I love to get out like this! Basically I’m a loner, love nature. Enjoyed your talk and relaxing bushcraft day camp. Carry a belt kit possibles pouch, small haversack and rucksack. The fat wood is a must, also like to harvest it if I can. That bacon smells good!😊

I have one of those stainless flasks for my cooking oil, as well. I have one tucked into my 64 oz bottle cook kit. you have a pretty good set up right there. and I agree, sometimes a guy just needs to get out in the woods, and take a few hours to quiet his mind. keep it going.

The Haversack is more like a fire kit. Very heavy on fire and not much else.
@awayinthewilderness43198 ай бұрын
I threw in the extra blade and cordage. I'll definitely be carrying it with my canteen set. I'm thinking I could toss in an emergency space blanket or something to have a cover element. Any other ideas? I'm definitely open to ideas. Possibly a small med kit. I'm sure I'll be tinkering with it like I do all my kits. Thanks for watching! And please do give ideas.

Are you asking what is a haversack in general? Or specifically where did I get this one?

@@awayinthewilderness4319 where did you get that one? :o I have a few haversacks myself, apologies I should've made it more clear

@@MegaMattcody This was actually a belt pouch originally. This is the "Possibles belt pouch" from Badger Claw Outfitters. I just added the D rings to it and attached my bedroll strap, which is from the same company. Just finished editing another video on this kit. That video is gonna drop pretty soon. Really thought about the kit and added a bunch of stuff to it, to make it more of a stand alone bag. Thanks! 👍
