I use to love stone walls for years but now it seems like the rooms look so much spacious and bright and fresh with white walls. There's definitelly difderent ways to pop colours in your rooms. Love your style.

You certainly fulfilled the brief. Looking back to the before picture the room now seems far more airy and spacious. I very much like the grouping of blue and white ceramic jars near the fireplace. Very funny start. You should try, ‘A proper cup of coffee from a proper copper coffee pot’.

Huge improvement but I would have left the stone on the actual fireplace mantel and removed the rest of the stone wall. Looks just a little sterile but otherwise, I think it looks amazing.

Very pretty and much improved. However, for me personally, I would like a bit more color but I love how open it now feels. Being that I have a dog in my family, I notice that the dog bed was moved. This makes me sad as it implies that maybe the dog is no longer welcome in this space. (?)

I had this question too! I would have put a tv over the fireplace and put the art collection somewhere else... but this is hard because the art collection looks so good over the fireplace *cries* I wonder how the designers would have fit a TV in this space

As pretty and updated as this appears, it’s not as comfortable and inviting to curl up in, to read or watch at movie, as the original room. Sorry. I’m about comfort more that NEW. SOMEHOW, that fireplace should have been saved. I’ve yet to find new couches, for the updated look, that are as comfortable, as older styles. Although, I don’t like marshmallow couches. I struggle to find the PERFECT BALANCE. But, this isn’t it, FOR ME.
