Was wondering about the black marks. I saw alot of black mold in 2008 from the previous recession in New Hampshire. Warnings we're posted on main doors per state officials so that they wouldn't get sued. Walked into one home once with that situation and bf got very sick after he walked out. We were told we shouldn't of been given the combination from the Agent from Keene without supervision. Alot during that mortgage crisis had water damage when winter came and pipes broke. Nice but question all the work and the black mold hiding behind it.

I'd love to live on a river or lake. Is flooding much of a concern on this river? I think that would by a deciding factor for most. Tough decision though. The lakes or ponds you have up there are so nice with the clear water etc. I've been enjoying the content. Thanks for providing it.

Very much a fixer upper. Lots of white mold in the basement. I wonder if the place has ever flooded. When you look at the bottom area of the walls in the garage it looks like it was flooded about 6 inches.

I was wondering if the property is worth this price without the house? Given the obvious mold issues, and that it needs extensive work, which could necessitate asbestos remediation (based on the age of the home), it would seem wiser to demolish the home. The property however, is gorgeous, so would it alone be worth the asking price?

Yes, it's nice, and cheap, but wait until January. The temperature in Maine gets down to 2 degrees. If the house is next to a lake, then the temperature feels even colder. The homes in Maine will remain at that price, one hundred years from now. No way will I live there.
