This is incredible footage. I loved Jeremy already, but hearing him be so polite with his guides and crew speaks so much to his character. Even calling himself out when he slightly (and understandably) loses his temper. I suppose it really helps being able to do what you love for a living. Beyond that, the audio in this is so therapeutic. Soft river noises, the quiet clicking of the line. With decent headphones, you could almost be there. I had this on in the background while working and then really tuned in once the action started. Finally, 21:31 nice arms Neville. Dude's that kind of jacked you get from doing good, hard physical work.

These uncut fishing videos are some of the best content I’ve seen on KZbin. I really hope this channel uploads more of his famous catches, I’d love to see the one where he caught the Golden Dorado

These long, behind the scenes segments with explanatory subtitles provide us with the details on how Jeremy really catches his river monsters. This doesn't take anything away from his ability or 'mystique' if you will - on the contrary it enhances it! His knowledge & techical skills shine - please edit & release more of these!!

Tbh if Jeremy rebooted the series to just be uncut footage of him reeling in these massive beasts, explaining his process, and showing off his catch for the cameras before a gentle release, I'd watch the hell out of it.

I bet whoever decided to save all that extra b roll footage from the River Monsters show had no idea that all the extra stuff that usually is never seen would have an outlet on a streaming platform more than a decade after it was filmed. I'm looking forward to the many thousands of hours (hopefully) of just this kind of footage. It's awesome that this is still generating revenue for someone so long after the original show aired on TV screens around the world.....and that we get to really appreciate one of the best shows that ever aired on TV even more.

"Sometimes my manners desert me." You, sir, are a legendary fisherman out in the middle of a jungle many miles out in nowhere, in the dark of the night, with an absolute monster on the end of your line while you're managing your film crew in between the pants of exertion from getting the fish in without going face-first off the boat and into the river. You get a pass on manners, in my book.

Something I've wondered for a while. You've caught sharks in open water, like Bull sharks, Tiger sharks, and of course Greenland sharks. Have you every wanted to do battle with a white shark? I know you're not interested in trophies, but to feel the strength of the most powerful predatory fish in the world, I think, would be an amazing experience.
@Ardonn2 жыл бұрын
You cant feel the true power of that animal.. The rod is rigged to the boat, you are not using your own strenght to reel it in, its way too powerful for any human being unless its a small juvenile
@metalmamasue36809 ай бұрын
It's probably similar to catching Giant Marlin. That would be a dream come true if there's still those large ones left. Like I used to see footage of growing up. I think it was black marlin. 🤔
