I remember reading once Rivers said this was the song he was the most proud of from the White for how it evolved. This demo is beautiful I can't believe this song sat on the shelf since 2002, if anyone had just believed in Rivers around this time (who wasn't Rick Rubin) Weezer would have more songs like this

@@angeroid_6 They used the melody and most of the lyrics in the verses of Summer Elaine and Drunk Dory on the White album. It obviously has a more beachy-summery tone than this, but it's overall a pretty good way of reusing this old demo in my opinion.

It’s so crazy… I knew there was a reason this was always my favorite off the album.. it always stuck out so much. This blew my mind. This version is even better. The chorus is better here too. Wish it was remastered and remade for the white album
