It's the most beautiful area of the park. A natural place of calm and stillness. Frontierland has always been the most serene and relaxing area of Magic Kingdom. So sad that the executives at Disney are so out of touch to think it is a good idea to get rid of it and replace it with something loud and thematically unrelated. Not surprising though.

Always enjoyed the ride on the Liberty Belle. The sounds incorporated in this video really enhance the experience. I cannot believe they're getting rid of Rivers of America. That wooden walkway next to it is one of my favorite spots in the park! Ugh!!! This was a great video. You always get the best shots and showcase the park perfectly!! Thank you!

I agree, I actually like to hang out on that wooden walkway area almost every trip to MK to relax a bit. Been doing that for as long as I can remember, it’s gonna be really tough losing this area for sure😔 Thank you so much as always!

When i was busy moving or going back and forth to deland it was one thing but now I’m just getting bored and frustrated. And I really hope Villains Land is worth losing the best place to chill at MK.

A lot of upset fans are expressing their opinions about it on D'Amaro and Vahle's Instagram page. Its no secret that Disney changes their plans frequently. Like you said hopefully they will retract this plan and move CARS to another location.

It’s 100% going to happen. If an attraction is not attached to a modern and popular IP, it will be scrapped and replaced. That’s been the Disney Park’s philosophy for 10+ years now

@@blayedd_ I don't think that's always true. There are still a lot of attractions that are very old and aren't so popular. There were also some Disney announcements that never came to reality. Actually I'm positive and I think there are possibilities that the company pay attention to all the people that is requesting to leave Frontierland the way it is now. Time will tell...

Really wish Disney would use the land beyond Big Thunder for this expansion instead of taking out the ROA. At least shorten it like at DL. Going to miss the Liberty Belle and the water feature as a whole. Thanks for this 4K.

⏰Time flies and before we know it, no more rafts will be going over to the Island. Nice for the archiving of the sights and sounds of this area. I'm thinking the Liberty Belle would be nice near the American pavillion at Epcot. Maybe it could be a quick serve or still give rides in the lake. Last trip I did both the boat & the island. I wonder how many people do these each trip? Appreciate your getting the details of the area. 💜💜

If they could somehow do rides around the World showcase lagooon in the riverboat, I’d be so down for that but I doubt Disney would do it sadly. Hopefully the boat will be visible somewhere on property. I know that most guests probably don’t experience the boat or Tom Sawyers Island, but the river naturally is such a big part of the ambience of the Magic Kingdom(at least to me it is). It’s gonna be really missed for sure, but this will push me to visit DLP more often now since they definitely have the best riverboat ride/Frontierland in my opinion. Thank you so much Liz😊

When they removed the name from Harper's Mill I knew they were going to do something. Really I thought it was going to become Tiana's restaurant on the Bayou. If Tom Sawyer's was going to go, how cool would that be to have a sit down restaurant on the water you need to use a river raft to get to? Just my mind playing imagineer.... 🙂

It's so sad for the Riverboat 😭 This is such an iconic and classic rides from Disney Parks. I can not imagine Liberty Square and Frontierland without it to become a congested area where the whistle of the boat will be replaced by cars noises... This boat can never get old, it's pure nostalgia. Some people seems to forget nostalgia feelings are ine of the things we love at Disney and make Disney Parks different from other parks...

I am pretty sure they are not taking away the whole river. They are likely just doing what they did in California where they axe the northern part. They are also probably filling it in to better control it, like the cemented rivers of america at Disneyland. Because right now this is actually a natural swamp river and it is likely sinking.

Even though Ive never been on rivers of america or Tom Sawyer, I’m still gonna miss it just for its atmosphere. I love hearing the sound of the River boat going by at frontier land. Im sad its gonna be replaced but hopefully the cars area goes good in that area

I would love to have a California Adventure caliber Cars Land at the Magic Kingdom or elsewhere at Disney World, but not at the expense of the Rivers of America. Not every Disney World guest has the ability or desire to also visit Disneyland so having a similar Cars Land at Disney World is not an issue to me. I love the water, lush landscaping, and peaceful, parklike atmosphere of the Magic Kingdom’s Rivers of America and would hate to see it destroyed and replaced. I’ve always wished that Fantasyland and Tomorrowland had something similar to the Rivers of America as they both have large areas that are ugly, poorly designed, unpleasant, sparsely landscaped concrete and metal jungles. It’s stupid to destroy the scenic and gorgeous Rivers of America when there is plenty of space to build Cars Land elsewhere. If Cars Land must replace any existing attractions, it should replace the lackluster Storybook Circus or equally terrible Tomorrowland Speedway. I don’t care about the removal of Tom Sawyer’s Island as an attraction as long as the island itself remains beautiful, tranquil, and befitting of the area, but I do care about losing the ambiance of the Rivers of America. The Rivers of America is my favorite location at the Magic Kingdom in terms of ambiance. Destroying Magic Kingdom’s Rivers of America will be the dumbest, worst, most inexplicable blunder in Disney parks history.

The shot across to Thunder Mountain Railway where two were seen in the same shot was wonderful. Prepare for a small token of appreciation. Also, is the WDW Railroad going to shut down during construction or is that a rumor?

I’m glad you’ll get the chance to experience all of this for sure in October! I hope it’ll still be all in tact in February too. Disney hasn’t said anything about the railroad shutting down but many online are saying that it could shutdown for a long time again. I don't understand why they don't keep the first part of the river and just have the boat go around the first island and then put the cars area north of that where Fort Langhorn is. It's going to feel like a very crowded part of the park once it's all filled in.

I know the Belle is guided along a track, but what propels it since the water is really shallow. And what appears to be steam coming from the smoke stack (and also on the side near the water), makes me wonder if there is some sort of mosquito repellent in it. Wonderful, relaxing lunch time escape, 4K!! You really have got an "eye" (and ear) for capturing moments of places that can carry us, your viewers, away for just a short bit. 🥹 I know there are a lot of mixed (seemingly mainly negative) feelings about upcoming changes at the WDW parks, with questions of motivation for the changes. But, just as I don't like all the movies, I don't like all areas of the parks, new or old. So much has changed over the long history of the Disney Parks...maybe it just seems harder to swallow now that the parks have been around so long that previously untouched ares have become perceived as "sacred" (especially after being denied access for a time in recent years thanks to a pandemic). Thank you, 4K, for striving to remain neutral in your content...just giving us the sights and sounds you capture!!!

The news of losing this area definitely was not great for me. Even though I rarely ride the riverboat or visit Tom Sawyers Island, I still love this area for the ambience and hang out around it almost every trip to MK. I honestly can’t picture the park without it, so these changes will be tough for sure but I know I’ll get used to it like all the other changes at WDW recently. Thank you so much my friend!
