Yes! Hyuna WAS in Wonder Girls under JYP entertainmemt but her parents decided to remove her from the grp due to health issues...(chronic gastrocenteritis and fainting spells) she joined 4minute after she recovered under CUBE entertainment, (but she became so popular as an individual and overshadowed the group) Anyways the group disbanded despite their popularity and now Hyuna is Soloist (she definitely has the IT factor tbh)

HyunA started out in jyp entertainment with wonder girls when she was 15 years old in 2007. She left due to health concerns. Then she joined cube entertainment and became a part of 4minute a few years after. The reason why they're called 4minute is cuz they say that they can make you fall for them in less than 4 minutes. Queens who took this concept and paved the way for so many other female groups. My gosh where do I even begin... zzzzz... So I am going to try keep this very short for you guys. Cube Entertainment was actually created after the ceo of cube who was employed under JYP left to create his own agency. In doing so he took the girls of 4minute and B2st/Beast who where all under jyp and created his own label. Yes Hyuna debuted in wonder girls a year before leaving JYP. She left a year later after having medical issues with her stomach at a young age. Hyuna re-debuted basically 2 years later as a soloist and a 4minute member where this can be credited as a full time run in a girl group. 4minute basically meant that the girls will captivate you in under 4 minutes. They debuted only weeks apart from 2ne1 and the rivalry between 2 girl crush groups in a male dominated kpop scene as well as female groups who only did sugar gum pop based songs. Like cute concepts however both girl groups are the reason we have such badassery in kpop. Crazy was written by Hyuna; this is her song after 4minute suffered harsh sales over the past years with a declining popularity. This song shot them back up the charts and showed how dominant this group really was. Dizz you mentioned the styling and I just wanted to give a shout out to the main vocal of 4minute Gayoon. She was actually their stylist here as well as their stylist for their hate comeback which was the girls last comeback before disbandment. This group was so hands on with their work man. I miss them so much. I cannot wait to show you the group who really got me into kpop B2st/Beast now known as highlight. Still going strong in Korea. Dizz you also mentioned Big Bang, well thats the power of second generation groups in general; the styling is funky, daring, questionable and just freaking bizarre in most second generation groups but I am here for it because it makes them unique. Even the sound is reminiscent of black culture and or 90s-2000s hip hop and rnb which is why I stan second gen so hard. Theirs a lot of issues with fans and people stating culture appropriation and in some cases I do feel slightly annoyed when I see such things in certain mvs but not in this one people can fack off. Also Khadija im not sure if the others have watched the unpretty rapstar intro I linked a few weeks ago but Jiyoon 4minutes rapper is in season 2. P.S: This is my favorite reaction because I get to be biased as hell right now and because you reacted to the badass queens. Also I was shook when I found out the styling was all Gayoon I wanted to applaud her for making me think about the early 2000's with a modernized look. Dizz mentioned that he confused Hyuna with Hyolyn. Hyolyn was in another disbanded 2nd generation k-pop girl group called "Sistar"! They are the "Queen of Summer Songs"!! Hyolyn was together with Soyou, Bora and Dasom. You can check their tracks: "Alone", "Give It To Me", "Loving U", "Touch My Body", "I Swear" & "Shake It". One of the reasons why Hyuna was and still is so successful is because she was in a lot of this “projects” and every single one of them became one of the TOP groups of the moment and at the same time she also was a solo artists with great and super famous solo songs. She was in wonder girls but I think only in their beginning era, she was in troublemaker which was a super successful duo, she was in 4minute which in like a couple of years ago was the top girl group of that time. She also was in her last project which was triple H. I am pretty sure that “project” was going to be massive but she was kicked out of cube entertainment because she was in a 2 year secret relationship with Pentagon’s and triple H’s Edawn ( he was also kicked from cube).
