In case you’re wondering what Hyolyn has been thru, Hyolyn was one of the few kpop idols who have darker skin tone. She broke the barrier and stereotype of kpop idols have to have paper white skin tone to be idols. She also broke the stereotypes of saying idol-singers couldn’t “sing” by joining multiple music competitions.

I love Hyolyn but mostly know her for voice. she has this awesome soulful, raspy sound that you don't really get to hear in this particular song. all sexiness aside this was the vid that made realize 'oh! wait a minute. Hyolyn can really dance!!" I'd seen her dance but always very simple choreo so I didn't know she could kill it like that. You can tell she really put in the effort. Hyolyn is not only an amazing performer and awesome dancer but an immensely talented vocalist. She was part of a beloved girl group called SISTAR but they disbanded as of last year. I know how you feel. For me, CL, Hyuna and Hyolyn are the queens, the rule breakers of kpop and they're amazing in their own way. Hyolyn has this beautiful sexy amazing body with this dark tone(when kpop fans and industry make "white washing" with idols and they can't have taned skin), she's very talented, she can sing and dance the way she want, not make her songs the way that kpop industry want. Y'all really need to react to SISTAR then. That was her former group they broke up in 2017. Two of them, Hyolyn & Soyou kept on being singers while the remaining 2, Bora & Dasom ventured into acting. I'll suggest the following SISTAR songs: Alone Give It To Me Ma Boy (SISTAR19 which is a sub group with only Hyolyn & Bora) Shake It Touch Ma Body Lonely ** Although they have disbanded they still stay in touch with each other & are extremely supportive of each other's pursuits.
