When I tell you this DIVIDED THE FANDOM last summer lmao you were either a TeamWave Atiny or a TeamIlluision Atiny. In this comeback, Ateez let their fans choose what they wanted for the title track and which one they would promote and it was between Illusion and Wave (there’s a whole storyline and it connects which is why there was the little snippet of the Wave MV at the end of Illusion and they also connect on the album). Wave won by a literal fraction. It was literally 51-49. Wave got them their first win and this concept was very different from the dark and brooding Ateez that we are so very used to. But I feel as if Wave and Illusion are on different sides of the same coin. If you’ve never listened to Wave, I highly suggest it because it’d be a crime to have one without the other.

hi guys! once again thank u for reacting to ateez (as an atiny)! illusion was a song released for their summer comeback so thats why the concept is so different than that you used to see, they released illusion and "wave" (their promoted themselves with two songs and they let their fans choose the one song illusion or wave as their one title to promote and maybe for the wins in music programmes, btw fans have choosen "wave") you should react to wave bc the end of illusion mv when they are at the beach is continuation for the wave mv, its a storyline yall :) and you should definitely go check up their "wonderland" bc you might love it, its like good old hype side of ateez! the secret of ateez is their capability to do very different concepts and at the end their always works somehow. thank u for reacting to ateez, great video as always

I don’t think Ateez has a bad song. I really enjoy all of their songs and listen to their albums all the time, but “Promise” and “Aurora” are probably my two favorite songs by Ateez. They are really a great group and deserve to be recognized for their talent.

Illusion is the first part to a double part m/v (kind of like Say My Name and HALA HALA) and the second part is Wave. There is a continuing story going. Wave and Illusion are more summery songs than hard hitting bops. Wonderland is in there too. And Win. Pirates are kind of their schtick. Illusion doesn’t grab everyone at first. Wave is a summer bop though. Think Give Me More by VAV. You should watch them Live too. Jongho’s voice is amazing. He gives me shivers. The MAMA 2019 performance was great. There were so many good performances at those awards: BTS, ATEEZ, Mamamoo.

Illusion is one that takes a few listens to get into. I didn’t like it at first but it’s a bop now. Listen to Wave, which is the second part. The very end of this video is the beginning of Wave. Also, the MCL shirt is Jongho, the maknae and the powerhouse vocalist (and physical powerhouse). Also check out their dance practices and their songs Wonderland and Utopia. This group started out as a dance group before they debuted called KQ Fellaz. Watch more please!!!

Yess!! Illusion is definitely one of the songs that isn’t as intense and super powerful as the other songs!! But still it’s so good and sweet just like Monroe was saying! I was immediately drawn to it because it was different from their previous comebacks and songs! “illusion” & “Wave” are both title tracks of their third album ‘Treasure EP3: One to All’ and even though “Wave” is their official title track. “ILLUSION” opens up the album (third part of the storyline) where they finally show the ship that leads to the Island, which is where the MV “WAVE” comes in! I’m sure you probably know this is their 3rd comeback and the winning title track is “Wave” even though they revealed “illusion” during their live showcase on M2 youtube channel. Hongjoong says that it’s better to listen from their first album to current one so you can understand the first half of the storyline. *My biases are Hongjoong, Seonghwa, Mingi, Yeosang, SAN - No i haven’t forgot about my boys Yunho, Wooyoung and Jongho but I love & support all members (no bias wrecker).* I think ATEEZ being such goofballs wanted to switch things up by having a voting to make it more interesting & fun. I personally think “illusion” should’ve been official official title track seeing how they start on a ship looking for land which leads them to “Wave” where they finally make it to the island. *Two major reasons why almost everyone loves “Wave” more is because Mingi’s parts when he starts up the chorus saying “Hakuna Matata Ya” on top the amazing visuals.* They’re both great songs but I like “illusion” better!
