Everyone went NUTS when this came out because A) we have yet another song that joined the unholy catalog of NCT songs about sex lol (it has come to the point where "pulling an NCT" means an unexpected song that may or may not be about sex is a running gag within the kpop community i.e. Whiplash, Highway to Heaven, Drippin, etc). B) Winwin had actual lines (he's been in several ubunits and in 127 since 2016 and the duration of his individual lines add up to a total of 5 minutes). C) it had a Chinese and an English version D) the song hits EVERY TIME bc it gives that early RNB nostalgia

This is kind of a reach, but this song's murky and sensual vibe and the music video's almost blurry and smoky aesthetics gives me the vibe of 2 foreign strangers having some DL discreet sex, except that they actually have such strong chemistry, yet they know it can't go any further than a one time hookup, so they found themselves making love under the dim light inside a cheap hostel. While other NCT hoe anthems give me more lustier and kinkier vibes, such as Baby Don't Like It representing cosplay/dress up kink, Whiplash representing BDSM and dom-sub dynamic, Baby Don't Stop gives me the vibe of first-time sex between two guys who just recently came out, Dripping gives me the vibe of first-time oral sex, Summer 127 is like 2 people having fun in the club but the guy wants something else more sexual than just bodies-to-bodies twerking, Love Talk gives me more of the 90's sensual love-making vibe and definitely one of my most favorite NCT songs

Love Talk's charm is its vibe and simplicity. It's so easy to listen to. I asked friends who are not kpop fans to listen to it and they loved it. Also, just a comment here. A lot of fans don't consider Wayv a part of Nct. 3 members of wayv have never been a part of nct at all. Wayv is a cpop group.

C-pop is on its come up, theres a few big entertainment companies coming up in China influenced by the hallyu wave, and companies like YG and SM are developing Chinese stars to get a foot in the Chinese market while Korean artists aren't really allowed in China atm. I believe WayV counts as Cpop since most of their members are Chinese nationals or Chinese in ethnicity. WayV also performs in Korean though!
