I'm glad that someone else recognizes that Itzy isn't necessarily a vocal-based group. I see a lot of people compare them to other 4th gen groups and say that they focus too much on dancing, but personally I love that about them. It's what sets them apart from the rest, not every group has to have a bunch of main vocalists. I love that their concept is just 5 girls celebrating their uniqueness and encouraging others to do the same. I can definitely see them being iconic in the future. Loved this reaction! I know you all probably have so many requests already but I'd love to see you react to Exo's What is Love! It's from their first album so I guess it would be good for a Rewind episode. Maybe you could do a double feature and do Moonlight as well! I also reccomend Ateez's Inception and (G)I-DLE's Hann.

Girl they're already iconic! Wannabe's shoulder dance went viral like their sister groups choreo used to in the past ("TT", "likey", "cheer up" for example). I do get what you mean though. They have the chance to get even bigger than they are now if they keep it up.

You guys definitely hit the nail on the head when it comes to Itzy. They move as a unit and I find myself not really having a bias because they are all so strong in terms of supporting that unit. This is one of the groups where I couldn't really see any one member going off on their own to produce a solo album, for example. I think their concept and what they represent is girl power, being proud and staying true to who you are, which is much bigger than any one persona within the group. Also, I think the "shouty", confident nature of a lot of their songs gives me the cheerleader mood as well in a good way! Their title tracks are always self-assured and encouraging. I enjoyed watching your reaction! ITZAAAAAYYYYY!

OMG you haven't seen their Stage practice video for Not shy, that's just insane, I never knew that anyone can sing this loud and be so perfect on pitch and DANCE LIKE THAT. If you react I will kiss each and every of you hahaha But the dance and stage for this song is def my favorite. Their dances are always flawless, hard and fun, but this one is just a chiefs kiss! I didn't like the song that much after watching MV, but after watching STAGE PRACTICE I fell in love and watched every single video of them dancing. Idk, the way they dance and sing just makes me so happy lol hahahha, their energy is just killing PS. i love your reaction the most guys! I just love you and watching you just make me so happy. Sometimes I rewatch some videos like 10 times, your emotions and happiness is just so infectious! Love you all

I think Itzy intentionally moves as one right now similar to what Twice did in the beginning because right now isn't the time for one member to shine, its time for all members to shine equally. They are so new that the audience is still understanding them as a group and they need people to first like them as Itzy and then stick around for the individual members. That time will also come where they will all individually shine (they still do) in music but I think its better to play safe with letting all the members move as one to show the strength and dynamic of the group.

Twice is still moving like that 5 years into their career and it’s sad. I hope at some point JYP lets go w Itzy and allows them to have solo work/endeavors, bc right now most (if not all) of Twice is gonna have a hard time after their contract ends bc jyp ain’t let them have an ounce of freedom in that aspect yet. I agree that it’s smart to do now since they’re rookies, but knowing jyp 2 years will turn into all 7

I wonder how the members feel too, I wonder if they want to do solo stuff while being in twice or just be how they are right now.

Yes bcus its very dangerous for a group to have only 1 member to shine. It has been proven by many groups before them that it will lead to failure

To add on to why it's dangerous for one member to shine, it can cause fans, trolls, or antis to begin to hate the member. The best example is Jennie from Blackpink and Mia from Everglow. Due to solo, Jennie received a lot of hate and spent almost half a year under harsh criticism. Mia is currently under intense criticism and being attacked for having more lines then her counterparts even if their producers chose to give her the lines because she sounded better.

I’m so glad y’all reacted to this! Itzy has solidified their place as a talented, top tier group in less than 2 years & they are probably nowhere near their full potential. They’re improving every comeback & they really stepped up their game this time in every way. The choreo & their charisma is on point, theyre one of the most stable rookies, and they’ve finally started to showcase their vocals in this whole album. In my opinion theyre on their way to be THE next big group in a couple years.

Idk if it's just me or what, but what you were saying about ITZY being as one girl dancing in terms of performance, really reminds me of Shinee.
