Yes she really was bald/wearing a bald cap and when she was asked about the decision she said: “I always enjoy taking on new challenges, so although there are sometimes people who think it’s strange, I think this is a way for me to express who I am. I’m just very grateful that many people are looking at it positively.” She's so amazing❤

Solar wrote and composed the song. Bald cap, she wanted to go all the way, but everyone talked her out of it. Except their CEO, who supported all of her ideas for her solo. :D it's a representation of her raw self. Agree on the song being part of Mamamoo, and the moos began reminiscing old songs at Melon. ahahaha Anyway, Moonbyul's Eclipse. I saw at the comments you haven't done it. It is also different. it's kinda like EXO / TVXQ vibes, but all Moonbyul style, especially on the choreo. She did it to break the gender stereotypes in music.

Like "In my room" and "Love and hate" but I believe that those songs weren't promoted and Eclipse is her first solo song, that actually comes with a full album (And if haven't listened to it... You should do it! That album is gold!! The songs are: Eclipse, Mirror, Moon Movie, Iljido and I think Snow? But I'm not sure about snow)

One thing that is interesting to point out is that usually on kpop when a group's member goes solo they end up making a different kind of music, more in tune with their individual taste, but in both Hwasa's and Solar's solos their songs look a lot with Mamamoo's style. The thought that the girls' personal taste in music matches their group makes me happy.

Felipe Bomfim the thing is even in Mamamoo’s music is somehow sound cohesive yet varied in flavors too, each member sounds like themselves in MMM tracks, so their music would not sound so different to each member’s solo project. Mamamoo has their own playground to be fully themselves, both in group projects and solo projects. If you look at SNSD’s solo projects, literally only Jessica’s albums embodied the SNSD sound, while each of Taeyeon, Tiffany, Yuri, Seohyun, and Hyoyeon sounds very different from the group’s sound.

The song is about solar wanting to do whatever she wants with her music career regardless what the haters and spit out her burning passion on the thing she enjoys doing which is music "spit it out with hot lips", those haters can just shut up "close those cold lips" or they can shout/curse her name all day all night until they sleep but it won't affect her as she will just focus on her passion in music. In the first verse "50/50, I'm always on the chopping block. Because I am a girl, why doesn't it matter? (I'm just gonna go) My way. Because I love me, there's no particular reason to curse, just call my name", this is the part where she calls those haters out yet letting them know she won't let them get to her. The song is basically about her being her true-self no matter what the people say about it, it shares the same theme with Mamamoo's HIP, solar also mentioned that people will think of HIP when they listen to this song as both shares similar message.

It represents how I put all my passion into this album.” Also, “I like taking on challenges and trying new things, and there are times when many people like it but there are people who don’t like it too. The meaning of the song is that despite that, I’m going to not pay attention to them and just shout it out, spit it out.” This song is very representative of Solar as a person: confident, sassy, sexy and cute, elegant yet quirky, fun loving and definitely passionate. She's someone who loves life, doing new things, trying new challenges, and also she's not afraid to break the mold. The bald scene is symbolic of embracing your own beauty just as you are without any frills, something that has shocked many for its audacity (you never see that in Korean MVs from what I heard).
