monroe you're spot on, they basically are underdogs even though they've been around for about 5 years. despite their company being a pretty big one in Korea, they don't get a lot of support from it, including financially. even though they haven't had a comeback in so long (devil) the budget for this MV was so low :( but they make do with what they did have, which is a major reason as to why this song wasn't backed with a hard hitting MV. that being said, they are definitely an amazing talented group and i hope you guys continue to check out their other songs like BLACK DRESS and ME, which have better quality MVs and equally great music

CLC is the same. Company with GiDLE.. Which is CUBE ENTERTAINMENT I agree what monroe and dizz say.. Their company not 100% focus on CLC.. no hate. For GIDLE.. But CUBE ENTERTAINMENT need to make a move cuz with this. Comeback CLC get new fans and they also chart number 4 on iTunes world wides along with blackpink, little mix and more.. They also get 10M. views in 32 hours for helicopter which is the biggest achievement for them .. Stan CLC 😭

I totally agree with everything you guys said. CLC have so much potential and each girl brings something powerful to the group. But the video stifled that and it was disappointing. I also feel as though the choreography should’ve been more elaborate and powerful than it was due to the energy of the song and the energy the girls were bringing. I don’t think Cube Ent. really thought this through. Being that Cube is a somewhat powerful company, they could have done more in my opinion.

Helicopter grew on me the more I listened to it, but it took multiple in depth listens for me to get to the point to say that I liked it. Cube doesn’t seem to know how to fully develop a girl group with longevity in mind. They also have a strong tendency to focus solely on the individual “star” of the moment which in turn pushes their group forward i.e. Hyuna with 4Minute, Soyeon with (G)I-dle. On the other hand, CLC’s overall dynamic is more group focused, which I believe contributes to Cube’s lack of focus on how to proceed and maximize the group’s potential, which is very apparent in the production of Helicopter.

Im crying, my girls deserve so much better. They have everything, visuals, talents, humor, and most especially, GREAT ATTITUDE (their staff keep saying they're the kindest group they ever worked with), these girls have been around for 6yrs already and people still sleep on them 😢 even those who dont know clc can feel like their company dont invest on them and this is so true. CLC is from Cube, it's not a small company. At one point they were near top 3. They make top groups usually, CLC is the black sheep. CLC is kinda old they came before blackpink/everglow. The are known for being underrated and after 5 years from debuting in 2015 they still are underrated... 😭

Opinions like these are always just as important as good criticism. You didn’t like it completely but you guys provided feedback which is great because if the company see’s this and hears it enough from the fans (which we’ve been nagging at their company for years) they’ll finally invest more into the group so that they’re at the same caliber with the groups these days in every aspect; styling, mv, choreo, production, etc.

I'm sorry for my English but this was so, Cube Entertained, is the company behind CLC, since its debut in 2015 Cube has treated CLC badly leaving them out and without support, now with this comeback they were given new brand design and more promotion and this comeback was the best seller of CLC mingled its sales to previous albums , and doing an English version with their video, but it's not enough, all this I say they've been given is something they should have had from the start and they just got it, they're not so dear to the Korean public but they depend on the international public at all, this Helicopter video in the normal version and the English version if they were a little loose but also cube do not invest anything in them and they were also in times pandemic. Cube gave him like 3 Gidle comebacks with their respective videos this year and good quality but nevertheless they didn't do so well. This CLC comeback is the best in almost every way, in sales, reproductions, song, fandom growth and much more, except Music Video, I hope they come back and wipe out everything.

I love this song! CLC is a group that really doesn't get the attention it deserves, when they come back with strong and empowered concepts they are truly amazing! Guys please! I beg you to react to SEVENTEEN's comeback with their special album "Semicolon", less than 6 months after their last comeback with "Heng:garae" have managed to surpass, once again, one million pre-sales with their album. The title track is called "HOME;RUN" and it has an amazing sound.

My biggest issue with this MV, is that you can TELL Cube didn't invest into them the amount they deserve. They're under the same company as (G)-IDLE. I was so happy when I knew CLC we’re making a comeback after a while year of not knowing anything about a new release, as you guys mentioned the song is not that bad, I actually really liked it, their voices are amazing and they are really amazing artist, but CUBE has always being dirty with these girls. Their company pushed them back to debut other groups that hit the lotto (g-idle, pentagon) and forgot about them as fast as the other groups gained fame so fast. Now they give their other groups really nice and produced comebacks and give clc the minimal, the video was 0% that you can expect from a company like cube, is not part of the big3 companies but it is a recognized company and it is not poor at all. They just changed their priorities and I’m so sad and mad at that. CLC is a gold group with so many talented girls that can rock any concept but the company doesn’t even want or even try to give them something appropriate. Thanks for your reaction and honest comments! Let’s wish together soon the company take hands on this and open their eyes for the golden girls they have there!

CLC never got pushed back to debut other artists though. I hate seeing Pentagon mentioned every time Cheshires complain because none of that is true and it's strange since CLC was also accused of getting preferential treatment from older Cube fandoms when they debuted so you'd think this fandom wouldn't do any of that. Cube sucks ass & need to do so much more, I know that since I've been around since debut, but stop falsely claiming they got put aside for Pentagon when it's not even the case. CLC' main problem was Cube didn't know what to do with them, the decline started when they released their second album Question, that slowed the momentum they gained from Pepe/Eighteen then the long hiatus when they finally decided to add Eunbin and Elkie like they should have done in 2015.

Hi. This is the first video I've seen on your channel. As a Cheshire, I have to admit that your comments kinda hurt me but I decided to listen to the end because as singers your criticism would be useful. Well, after taking a deep breath, I tried to remember what were my thoughts when the song came out. Although at this point I love the song, when it first came out I thought "wow it's catchy, but it's far from the best they've ever done". I was just happy seeing my girls finally back in a year full of disbandments. Since Helicopter is coming from a rebranding, after not having heard from CLC in a whole year, I can understand that they're at a critical point where the company needs to invest in something safe, and I suppose it worked for them because the YT views and sales were the highest in the group's history, so their strategy worked. I see Helicopter as a strategy to make CLC massive, not so much to show the particular spirit of the group, that by the way is characterized by "versatility", which is a pro and a con, a pro for fans and a con for new listeners, who see a diversity that confuses them. Anyway, as a conclusion, I prefer honesty to empty comments about how pretty they look. And it was refreshing to see what an outside listener might think of the group. And I do think your criticism was constructive, I just had to turn off my fan brain for 10 minutes XD

I was the biggest critic of CLC at first but their music is really good, I agree with everything that was said but after really watching them and all the work they do I became a stan. I kind of disagree though, CLC shined so much with this comeback. but i love how honest this channel is, compared to some kpop reactors, who are just faking it for clout. anyways, CLC they broke their own records with HELICOPTER, sadly its just people are so stuck with the "CUBE mismanages CLC" idea, when they just revamped into a new management! . okay I get they were a bad company the past few years, but they recently just made some very good decisions lately, probably "again" due to the NEW management. and the fans just can't see that. they're just so stuck with how bad cube is, they literally cant see what the company has been doing the past few months! they are the only agency who releases weekly vlogs for their artists, they have an online talkshow that would feature all cube artists, they have been spending big with the live stages the groups comeback. the helicopter mv for me is enough already, its a good start for their re branding. and i'm so excited what clc has to offer in 2021. all their artists this year has been handled very fairly. G-IDLE, Pentagon,CLC, all of these groups have their fair share of promotions this year including being featured by some famous youtube channels, like COSMOPOLITAN, Buzzfeed, etc. and now BTOB sub-unit (BTOB4U) is debuting next month. and still CUBE is trash? okay..........
