I really loved what Monroe said about how idols are marketed and portrayed as these god-like beings and how so many people can get caught up in that fantasy that they forget that underneath all the glamour they really are just people. Great reaction guys! This whole album is amazing and it's really interesting that a few of the songs are in full english. I highly recommend "Pretty Savage" it's not full english so if you want to know what's being said you'd have to look up the lyrics but I think you guys would really enjoy it ;)

This song really takes me to 80s girl anthems like “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun”. But it gives them a real vulnerability that other videos haven’t because other videos are also about them being powerful and strong and on top no matter what happens, but sometimes, people are sad. They don’t feel like they are on top. And them showing that side of themselves is great. I also feel like Rosé and Jisoo have really been shown in a stronger light the past couple comebacks. In earlier songs and videos, Lisa and Jennie got the long moments solo and the parts that really popped in videos. But lately Jisoo and Rosé have been getting these great vocal pieces and special parts in the videos that make them stand out.

LOVESICK GIRLS THEORY!!! Lovesick Girls’ MV subtly tells a story about Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa passing away and Jisoo narrates the unfortunate events and eventually kills herself in the end... Notice the die sign at the back and Jisoo is the only one looking at the camera when they all are in one frame... Jennie: Due to the toxicity of their relationship, Jennie’s mental health suffered the consequences and tried to seek professional help but it didn’t work out. Her boyfriend brought her flowers to help ease the situation after the session but Jennie went hysterical which then led to their car accident in the parking lot. Lisa: Lisa is in an unrequited love - vulnerable as she looked up to him with a longing gaze. In the car scene, the words “for you” were written on the hammer. This represents her stand in love - she carries the relationship and risks it all until there’s nothing left for herself. Also, you can see that the car's license plate says “bad boy” and a wall sign that says “you have to be alone” means her boyfriend had finally left her. Reaching the peak of her loneliness, she decided to end her life by jumping off the rooftop. Rosé: Rosé is in a very in-denial relationship - trying her best to keep it together by keeping their common interests alive, but they never truly worked out. The depression grew deeper and so she decided to drown herself in the bath tub. Notice the painting on the wall - a pink skull; the guitar sign that says “I miss you, I hate you;” and the blood stain on her face. Jisoo: I think it's a dream. Jisoo is broken but at the same time the flower scene expressed her drive with staying positive and moving on. Blue flowers are representation of hope and the beauty of things. You can also see her holding an hour glass wherein the sand may seem to be falling off but is actually going the opposite way. This represents the desire to turn back. How she wished she ran faster to save all of her friends but it was too late - all of them are now gone. ...After Jisoo’s running scene, what we see is that they're all having fun in a store. Throwing foods and smiling and jumping. These are her favorite and most cherished memories with the girls. A trip to memory lane. The pink car only appears during OT4 scenes. After the memory lane scene, we see Jisoo in a pool with bloodshot eyes and a sign that says “NOTHING.” She’s in denial and trying hard to move on but feels nothing without the girls. Hence, the lyrics go “I’m happy with this pain. You pity me, but I pity you more for pitying me.” She could no longer bear the agony so she drowned herself in the pool. And in the last scene, we can see how all of them reunite in the afterlife with their favorite pink vintage mustang. End.

Highly agree about Jisoo. As people, most of us can tell when someone is confident. It's the small things, the way you walk, talk, and etc. The early Jisoo showed confidence on the outside but there was a hint of doubt. Yes, they've only released things here and there but ever since after Coachella there has been a long hiatus. During that time frame the Girls all worked hard and somewhere along the mix Jisoo really honestly felt confidence in the outside and now the inside. Bruh, the moment she pulled down that cover off her eyes in HYLT is when I knew. This album she just continues to amaze me and wrecks with her presence. just like all the girls. =)

honestly i'm glad we got so see a new side of blackpink when they released how you like that it was obviously their black concept and ice cream is a part of the pink concept and with lovesick girls i feel like the sound of the song is combining the two concepts together in the song i could still feel their bad ass aura especially with the rap line and we also get to hear and see more of a care free and softer side to them that we haven't really got to see in a while and it's more prominent with the vocal so i'm glad lovesick girls is the title track and not pretty savage not saying pretty savage is a bad song but i feel like people would complain if pretty savage was the title track since we've heard that type of sound before
