Been playing this game since FS09 and I remember playing the original of this map on FS11. Can only say that it just shows how far the game has come.

Thanks a lot for this review. It's such a relief to finally have someone actually present something and not just stumble around. You know where things are, you know what they do, how they work and can tell us how to get there. And last but not least, you also showcase the beauty of this map. This truly is a map guide. So 10/10 for presentation from me. 👍 To the map: When i saw the PDA on the modhub i thought it looked slightly familiar but didn't actually recognise it. I started playing FS with FS11, but only for a couple of days until they released FS13, which might explain it. I never played any of the later map versions either, and i think i well may have missed out on something very nice. This map looks like it could become my home map for FS25. Congrats and kudos to CavalierRoy, [Monkey Show Modding]. I am looking forward to trying this one out. 👏

This map is beautiful I have been wanting to do livestock but have not pulled the trigger yet this looks like the map that will change that for me thank you for the detailed review

each location is tucked in so cozy. I'm not a fan of those steep rock faces but i can ignore that because it creates the cozy barriers. Nice map im going to play it now.

I can remember playing this FS11 map and I think the start farm was at farmland identity 60.

I miss your ride arounds on the maps. I liked the in vehicle views of the map, could really get the feel of the maps.

I don’t fully understand why maps in general, and this map in particular, are so poorly rated. While this map may not fit my particular play style, it looks to be a wonderfully detailed and laid out map with all of the elements one would expect to see. I may give it a go once I finish my next series of play. Great review!

Its hard to say why people rate the way they do. To counter it you could rate it yourself once you download it for what you feel is fair.

I personally rate all mods 5 stars even if I don’t like them. Just to show appreciation for the time put into the work they did. Only time I rated lower was off stolen mods which usually get promptly taken down anyway.

This map is great, sadly I can't start building my farm because the PSN problems (for whatever reason you need to be connected to play on mod maps). In FS22 this was the map with more years played. I can't wait to see what improvements the creator did for the FS25 version.

Curious if I remember build the cattle barns and chicken coop and replace them with the base versions. Can I get the same custom pasture layouts?

Sure, although you might not be able to match it exactly due to tree collisions and such.

@FarmerKlein ok jw tried it and can't place the dairy barn in the exact place because of the fence line of the base pasture can't be place where the back of the fence is

I recognize a lot of buildings from Haut-Beyeleron and Zielonka.

Many map makers will utilize buildings from Giants base maps for their own work. Its one of the benifits of Giants providing us with multiple new maps each FS version as each one adds high quality assets that can be used by others to create wonderful things.

You know FK. Even though this map still haunts me the prospect of deleting every dang hedge on it might just get me back.

The fact it haunts you it means you have to go back to the beginning and defeat the monster.

Load in and it crashes for me every time freezes up my game

If you have the finance mod there is a known issue between it and the starting harvester. Take that out or try other mods as its a mod conflict somewhere.

Its not the map its the starting MF harvester. If its in your inventory it will blow the game up when you exit the harvester from what I hear. If you want to use finance mod sell the MF harvester before you add it to your save game until its been fixed.
