This songs makes me cry, for whatever reason. I think it's because after turning 30 is when I quit a bunch of bad habits (mainly smoking weed, not eating well and working out, and just knowing that I'm not giving my fullest self to this life). I'm especially moved when he says, ..."This year I'm thinking about talking to God more." I'm not a religious person, and I think you can take that even just metaphorically and it's still tremendously beneficial. It's a call for humility and self improvement and following your own North Star, whatever that is.

I never knew how much of my problems came from trauma of abandonment. Then i ran from God using many different drugs and chasing women. NF music has done more for me than anything. God using him

That verse "I can't help it, that's just me [lies]" - the way he drops in that 'lies' is so real and so powerful. We have these things that we claim over ourselves or that we accept and say we can't change and its all a lie from the pit of h*ll. Strong! 💪🔥✝🖤🤍
