How to Make Square Wire with a Draw Plate

Drawing wire through a draw plate is hard and requires strength. I have to put the draw plate on the floor and hold it in place with my feet while I pull the wire through the hole. I pull straight up and as far back as I can go to get a long length of wire pulled through...maybe 2-3 ft per pull.

Did Kevin build that draw bench & put it on vintage stands? Would love to build a bench like that at home someday
