What about lrf you do that outside of the scope with a hand held or does the scope do it as well
@Carolina_Night_Shift2 ай бұрын
@@idkidk7985 the leap series has the option to add on an external LRF. Once you have the lrf added on you can purchase the ballastiic solver in the Rix app and it will do the ballastiic calculation. If you notice you see the tube on the top right of the scope that's the LRF.

Once the ranger finder is on, do you have to push the button every time to get the poi to show up or does it do it automatically?
@Carolina_Night_ShiftАй бұрын
@@tylerschaben4254 You have to press the button to lock it in and bring up the drop point.

Do you need Wi FI or Bluetooth after you enter the ballistic info on the app for the scope to make the calculations? Will it make calculations out on a hunt without access to a phone?
@Carolina_Night_Shift4 ай бұрын
You will connect to the scope via an internal wifi connection. Once you input the data in your phone and upload it to the scope.. your done! The scope does the calculations. During this video I was using my phone to record and it was not connected to the scope at all so you will not need to have your phone constantly connected.

@@Carolina_Night_Shift Thanks for the reply! I noticed you have the range finder attached to it as well. Is that needed for the scope to make the calculations?
@Carolina_Night_Shift3 ай бұрын
@@m4tank127 yes the laser range finder is needed. The scope uses that data for the calculations.

Do you ever have problems with the range finder moving or not staying zeroed

Make sure you have the bushing in the LRF mount when you install it. I have used a rubber liner ( cat tounge grip tape) for when I lost my bushing to line the inside of the mount.
