I live in Riyadh, born and raised and one of the struggles I personally face is - in fact - the connectivity. Why do I need to always do at least one transit to arrive to my destination? I'm very hopeful that Riyadh Air will solve this. I simply cannot wait :)

I'm only FlyingBlue Silver but was upgraded twice this year. First Class on Delta and Business on Air France. Both short haul flights only, but still nice. Guess I got lucky this year

A very interesting podcast to hear about a brand new airline and the thinking behind what it's going to be

very rational criticism from alex, dan looks not motivated as usual to anything related to saudi

If now Riyadh Air as supposed to become a point to point airline with the primary goal of bringing people to Saudi Arabia, I'm curious what the difference to Saudia is supposed to be. When it seemed like Riyadh Air would be a competitor to the other gulf airlines, it made sense to have Riyadh Air as the transit airline to fly people via Riyadh to wherever they're going and Saudia for bringing people into Saudi Arabia. But now it seems like they both serve the same purpose. A bit weird?

Saudia’s hub is going to be Jeddah. Whereas, Riyadh Air’s hub will be Riyadh. Saudia will focus more on Hajj/Umra.

We need Emirates CEO🙏

So smart to give us the CEO in moderate amounts and with color commentary. I was worried I’d miss the banter and veering off topic. 10 years, fashion, avocado toast, Trump impressions…the sparkle with insightful global aviation analysis - delightful combination! If the two of you were co-CEOs what would your start-up look like?

Hosting airlines ceos and other people is about the most horrible announcement you can make. I get super distressed the second they open their mouth to repeat their slogans and shallow promo talk. It's a nightmare.
