I’m astounded not just by the clarity and poeticism of your analysis but by how consistently you manage to put these masterpieces out. As a video essayist myself I know just how much work goes into making it look effortless. Incredible!

Had no idea about the activist/musician part. Refreshing! Normally when we find about the person behind the celebrity, they're disappointing people

I loved Sound of Metal, and Mogul Mowgli and while they are both small indy movies. Mogul Mowgli was a true passion project. and a real arthouse movie. It was just so different and so out there from anything else I've ever seen. I love Riz Ahmed, he's hands down my favorite actor and I will watch literally anything he is in.

I love Riz's work! Mogul Mowgli is my favourite film, great analysis. It's probably the best piece of media about the South Asian diaspora. Riz's musical work is brilliant as well, Cashmere by the Swet Shop Boys is To Pimp a Butterfly for the Brown diaspora. I hope he releases some more music, I've spent too long listening to the Long Goodbye album

Riz has been one of those actors whose work I've been meaning to devour after randomly watching one of his lesser known movies. Thanks for the vid, it gives me more impetus to finally watch the others. I'll rewatch the essay then for deeper digestion.

Great video as always! I love Riz Ahmed!!!!! If you haven't seen The Sisters Brothers, you absolutely must. He was amazing in it, as was the rest of the cast. It's one of those movies you watch and it sticks with you for days after. Very important message!!!
