Whenever that brick wall of life hits me hard I just find a K.West story breakdown on KZbin and it let me know that…trying is the best part of being human. This will be added to my Mr. West Playlist 🔥

I watched this clip, after watching your video, of the Netflix documentary.... It was Kanye rapping Family Business to an old head for the first time.... That 1:30 second clip broke me and I cried all afternoon until replaying the clip stopped triggering me... The only way forward is through, with the family dysfunction and the black experience and I had such a hard time with that asa child and still do at my age today Kanye was able to make the room start crying and grieving just from his words of wisdom, affection and appreciation for family, his grandma that passed, his cousin in jail, his arguing relatives, the sleepovers with too many people

Growing up made me realise that Kanye is an example of a good kid losing his way and trying to reclaim that. It's hard. Kanye is a good father to his kids. Kanye gave us good music. Kanye broke the mold of the gang affiliated rapper, he's just a person trying to make his dreams come true and when they did, we didn't know he would lose his footing and never know which way was up. Yes, he's said some really bad stuff, yeah he's confrontational, he will say what comes to his mind as child would repeat words without knowing the context. I'm not justifying what he's said, he is an adult who is well aware of consequences, but I need people to look further. The only reason we can't cancel Kanye is because he's what ever other rapper isn't. He's not a gang member, he's not a womaniser (as far as I know). He's not making women catch his hands (Chris Brown fans post him dating Rihanna worry me). He's the normal kid who lucked into fame and fortune, lost it all, got it back, got humbled, got back up, said some bad bad depraved stuff, showed up for his kids, never not once disrespected his baby momma or his ex lovers. Kanye is the most realest artist in his tragedy and triumph.

Another one I missed! Good thing I went and checked. Very compassionate reading of West, a rare approach (that speaks for you too). The poetry in the writing adds so much too. Another thanks for beautifying life on this day.
