Hi guys, we also like to end a nice road trip with a good meal but we are amazed that oysters are so cheap in the Philippines and sadly, we pay a premium in the US. Marie was happy to see Dazel smile with her rambutan and agree that the ones with the black ants are the best. Take care our friends as always.

The baked oysters with cheese and garlic are my favorite! There are now more restaurants in that area. It’s become a popular hangout to drink beer and eat fresh oysters. 😁

Wow! It's 50 cents U.S. per kilo at the stalls here. Both Dazel and I enjoy the oysters in New Washington, Aklan. Always fresh and meaty.

Unfortunately, they went out of business. But, plenty of other oyster restaurants in New Washington that are open. Another favorite of ours in New Washington is Hayahay Seafood Grill; phone number [phone]. They have the same baked oysters with cheese sauce and steamed oysters.
