just a few questions does the eight wires have to have the sheath removed like wiring a plug.. Is Cat5e cable ok to use... How about sheilded and non-sheilded.. Thanks, Declan

Hello i need a ethernet from my router area to my room so can i have these rj45 female sockets at both ends ( one at where router is and one in my room )will that kind of connection work and will it put any negative effect on my router speeds

You can definitely do that. It would not really affect your speeds as long as you crimp the cables properly in the wall outlets.
