To tell the truth I was up your way Vevay aera doing a photography seminar. I had planned to try to get with you, but got so busy and then the hurricane it didn't happen. I scored some great wood though. I'll email you the story.

I use my disc sander with a small engineer's square as a jig to keep it straight, for sizes of pen blank that I don't have a barrel trimmer for. Seems to have no trouble taking down the brass.
