Regarding Dejaboo’s video… I’m pretty sure what happened was… it was definitely released as a double title track with Crazy and it did BETTER digitally in Korea than Crazy did which was unexpected. So to help him win on music shows, they had to crank out an accompanying “MV” so they cut together clips from his showcase for it. But it needed the official recording audio for it. So that’s what happened. It’s weird to look back on without context but… he won awards thanks to it so I can’t complain. 😅

Jonghyun wanted DejaBoo as the title track and SM said no and basically pushed Crazy. But after the album came out, DejaBoo was selling like crazy so they quickly put the album audio to this showcase video & said, it's a double title track now. SM should have just listened & trusted our musical genius, Jonghyun

@@lilyrose0116 Well sort of. Deja-boo was pre-released digitally 5 days before the album (and Crazy MV) dropped and was intended as a double title track. It just didn’t have a MV. He talked about it being a double title track before the album’s release at his showcase. But it’s true that it became a pre-release single because he pushed for it and SM supported Crazy instead, which is why that one has a MV even though Jonghyun liked Dejaboo more.

@@shineefeels Exactly, it only became a double title track AFTER DejaBoo did so well in sales. SM was firm in having Crazy as the title track only until they saw the numbers. Jonghyun was passionate about DejaBoo which is why it had it's own choreography & showcase with ZionT present.

Today we got many. 1) a video that said SHINee's back 2023 2) all members ig updates ot5 3) anniversary live. 4) onew's Japanese tracks 5) Members said Taemin is doing well and have because cutely chubby. (I wanna see chubby Taemin ) 6) With Onew's Japanese album release he will start 3 months of tour 7) Key is getting ready for another album. B sides are there. Haven't selected a title track. 8) Minho's drama to come Soo many to come😀

"Your Number" is one of my favorite SHINee's MVs: the choreography, the suits, the performance, the song and their smile are EVERYTHING!

The Replay live you watched was in early 2011 so Taemin was 17, not 14. And to answer your question, yes, his mic was on. If you're familiar enough with his voice it's easy to spot it. He just barely has any lines and the ones he does have are sang together with one of the other members.

Yes, the featured rapper in "Deja Boo" is Zion T. who is a well known K-hip-hop and R&B artist and he was really good friends with Jonghyun, so it was fitting that he was featured on Jonghyun's first album. Zion T helped Jonghyun compose the song, but if I remember right, Jonghyun was the one that wrote all the lyrics for "Deja Boo," including the rap lyrics. "Deja Boo" is the B-side track Jonghyun promoted with for his solo debut album Base, alongside "Crazy (Guilty Pleasure)". The "live" performance of "Deja Boo" that you watched is really a MV that was created using footage from one of his live comeback stage performances of the song. So, like all MVs, they used the studio recorded audio overtop of the live footage. I can't wait for you to hear Jonghyun's "Hallelujah," which is another song on his Base album. It is a very beautiful song. When you react to the live performance of "Hallelujah," please also check out his dance practice for the song. The choreography is very beautiful and it's a great way to see just how good of a dancer/solo performer he really was, as well. Jonghyun really could do it all. He was one of the most talented singer/songwriter/Kpop artists out there and we really lost a treasure. You did well Jonghyun, our man in the moon.

Thank you for this awesome video! Your Number was choreographed by Rino Nakasone, who has been with SHINee since they were babies. (She also did Taemin's first concert series.) I really love their look in the video though. It must have been so much fun. View is always great, especially in their trendsetting fashion (casual sleeveless t-shirts and shorts). Replay is awesome, especially the unplugged version. Taemin is 14 in the original mv and stages (with classic bowl cut, not in this one), and yes, he picked up parts to sing in their debut song 💜 Onew starts his Japanese tour, Key is working on another album, Minho has his dramas, and during their 0525 party, Taemin is doing well and SHINee will comeback in 2023!

Yay, I’m late but Happy SHINee Day!! 💎❤️✨ Thx a lot for your reaction!! 😍 It's a little funny how SHINee has a lot of “hidden” content and even though we know a lot about the group, we always find new things! For example, Your Number has a more colorful MV set in a bookstore! Another example: Replay, Juliette, Lucifer and a few more MVs have different Japanese MVs and people almost never react to them! 😱 Unfortunately some MVs are not officially on KZbin and sometimes hard to find, but I strongly recommend reacting to Kimi no Seide's MV (the MV was recorded during a real SHINee concert), the live version of Stand by Me (OST by kdrama Boys Over Flowers) and the live version of the song In My Room (where only Onew, Jjong and Key sing)

Japanese SHINee songs are all their own kind of bops, to me they feature members voices even better than the Korean extravangazas, most of the time. UMJ can be aggressive with claims tho, so only mvs that are also published on SMTown/SHINee YT channel are really safe to be reacted to (UMJ sold/sells MV DVDs with the singles, on Japanese TV or YT they only showed 30 second clips - whereas SM sees mvs as commercials and uploads them completely to YT).

Yey!!! Happy SHINee Day!!! - Taemin had no solo line in Replay but he was still singing along with the other members like in the chorus and in some backing vocals. - For Deja Boo, it was a showcase but was released as an MV so it sounded more of the studio version of the song. If you want the live version I suggest the one from Tokyo Dome (Jjong wearing pearl aqua suit). You'll clearly hear the fanchants which is so good. - Your Number is such a gem though as observed not a lot react to it probably because it's Japanese release and some do not know about this song. Always love your reactions! Looking forward for more.

Replay - Taemin has that endearing gawkiness, reminds me of that sort of in between stage a puppy goes through as it grows to an adult. My Number - I love that song and it's my favourite SHINee choreo. They make it seem so effortless, but just look how complicated those moves are and the intricate way they dance around each other. The hours they must have practiced to perfect that. And they look sublime in those suits. View - captivating choreo, and again, those suits, wow, all white with those chunky black buttons. Crazy - what can you say - Jonghyun, the master performer. During the vlive at the end, because you seemed to be wondering, it was Jonghyun they were talking to on the phone. I always enjoy it when you react to their funny moments. I celebrated SHINee day by watching their vlive. Key said he is working on releasing another album later in the year. You probably already know that Onew's next album is coming out very soon. They also talked about Taemin and said he is healthy and happy. And SM said "2023 SHINee is Back".

Happy SHINee Day!!! It's been nearly a year since you discovered them wow! I haven't even started yet but YOUR NUMBER my love at last thank you!!! I suggested it so many times hahaha! The representative suit dance imo. You haven't seen most of their Japanese mvs yet, and a good number of their solo mvs too! The rest of the Japan ones would have to be on patreon though unless you massively edit the video. Taemin was actually 17 when they went to Paris! Yeah for DejaBoo SM made the strange decision to stick the studio audio over footage from the showcase and call it an mv??? There are some great live performances of it too if you ever want to check it out someday. I still can't get used to View in suits, it just feels wrong haha Amber who was speaking english at their fanmeet is a member of f(x), SHINee's sister group btw. Jonghyun and Key had to leave early for other schedules, Jjong called back from the radio station where he hosted Blue Night. They have sooo many concerts and personally I think the best are the Tokyo Dome ones! I know they're long but watching a SHINee concert in full is an incredible experience if you have the time someday just for yourself even. I watched their live earlier, it was so nice to see three of them together, they said Taemin was doing well and Key announced that he's going to release an album later this year. Onew is in a musical right now and he and Minho both have dramas coming out later this year. They both released new Japanese songs this week, Onew has a JPN album out in July and he'll tour a few months for it. Minho just had several days of fanmeets/concerts in Japan, that's where he premiered his new songs. Key just performed at kcon and the cultural concert and he has a concert in the Philippines next week! All three of them will be at SM Town Japan this summer too, so they're all keeping busy!

Yeah they just pasted the studio track of Deja-boo on top of a live performance to make the "music video" for it because the song did way better than the original single for the album. That's the beginning of Jjong being trusted to write all his own songs.
