:3ildcat makes a lot of spray lubing videos on KZbin that you can search up if you're interested!

Awesome video. How has this keyboard held up thus far? Also, when you spray lubed, how many sprays did you do and where exactly did you spray each time? Sorry for the questions but this keyboard sounds heavenly, especially for 50-70 bucks.
@ThinhTran214 жыл бұрын
Thank you!! It has held up pretty good, but I had to add more dielectric grease to the space bar stabilizers because it was getting rattly after some time. I pressed down the stem and did two sprays at opposing corners of the stem and then pressed it up and down a couple time after. Watch this video if you want to know more about spray lubing kzbin.info/www/bejne/eXeroKChaK51oZI . Thank you so much for watching and commenting!

Any updates on how the spray lube worked out? I have the same keyboard as yours but my switches are "RK Browns". I was wondering if the spray lube would affect the durability of the switches?
@ThinhTran213 жыл бұрын
It's been working fine personally, but the spacebars started to get rattly again so I had to put more dielectric grease on the stabs!
@josebenjamin17773 жыл бұрын
did the lube affected the tactile feedback of the switches!

Is your keyboard doing fine still?
@ThinhTran214 жыл бұрын
Yes, It's working great! I just had to add some more dielectric grease to the right space bar stabilizer because it was getting a little rattly. But overall still great!

Did you disable the rgb lights on the left and right sides of the keyboard (ugly red part)?
@ThinhTran213 жыл бұрын
Yes, you can flip through the preset mode options, and thankfully one of them is off.

can you switch the case for it?

I'm not sure actually, I haven't heard of anyone doing that with this specific keyboard though

Congrats you turned browns to Reds.

Yes, I prefer it over how scratchy the browns are stock

Would I be able to do the same with WD-40 PTFE dry lube?
@ThinhTran213 жыл бұрын
Yes, that spray lube is really good also! but be careful, there is always inherent risks when modding/spray lubing your keyboard no matter what spray lube you use, so just do some research on it before you do it. :3ildcat has a good video explaining spray lubing if you want to search for it.

Is it still have a tactile after you lubed it?
@ThinhTran214 жыл бұрын
Yes, it's still there, but it's a lot less pronounced. However, the sound profile and smoothness is greatly improved.

@@ThinhTran21 how's the battery? Still normal or? I heard many died out already after 6 months. And if i may know, how long the battery last?
@ThinhTran213 жыл бұрын
@@liaa2380 Yes, the battery is still working okay for my unit. I don't get a sense of how long it lasts because I charge it whenever I'm not at my desk, so I can't answer that question, I'm sorry :-(
