Tuition at ucla is only ~50k not including housing and food! Government loans and scholarships is how most people afford dental school! I pulled out under 70k of loans for my first year and will be doing a repayment plan after I graduate

I took mine between my third year of CC and transferring to UCI! I recommend taking it after you take all of your core science classes such as gen chem, o chem, and the general biology classes! As soon as you can after so you don't forget about everything!

broo just wondering how do you study for exams? Like your stepsss and what techniques you doo :o

I honestly wouldn’t recommend how I study for exams, because I’m struggling out here for real😅 but I usually just start first passing 3-4 days before an exam, reading through the lectures and taking hand written notes. The last day before an exam I would spend group study with my friends and quizzing each other. But next quarter I’m going to try to spend more time each day to study instead of just cramming the last few days before exams

Dental school applications are holistic! So don't stress if your GPA and DAT aren't the best, you can shine in your app in other ways, and don't ever let your stats discourage you from applying and pursuing your dreams!
