Dang Mr me dos ! I seen that mug scooting in the parking at night . She was moving ! Looks like there was whole lot more power left . When they ride wheelies like that , it’s all good . When you try the ramp , mine needed a little throttle tap on the slower jumps to keep from lawn darting , and it flies nice imo . You’re going to like it after a little practice ! Let us know . I was jumping in the grass .

Thanks for sharing . On mine I burned out another 24t pinion . It was on turbo mode . So o figured out how to shut that off and installed a 27t pinion . Feels a lot better . I think it was the turbo function anyways . Sounds a lot better now , feels a lot smoother and is enough . I think the turbo mode is the weaker beep With the SWT button .

there is a spacer already to delete slop at 16:30. You must missed it somewhere, or just mine be different case of different slot#.
@MrMeDos5 ай бұрын
the slop is on the inside of the hub where the treads of the shaft sits. its loose. the space between the hub and the hub carrier is nice and tight, but inside the 17mm hub itself is loose. but a lil tape around the threads fixed it.
@boduke94286 ай бұрын
Has anyone really been breaking these yet? Aside from the front shock standoff I've not seen many issues. Is this more just because it's there stuff? I've not really driven mine much since the Vigilante came out and was delivered while i was waiting on this to finally ship. It seems to be a pretty tough little rig from my limited experience.
@MrMeDos5 ай бұрын
the upgrades especially on the drivetrain is beneficial, many guys complaining about rear diff cups on stock going bad. the upgraded cvds , dog bones, driveshaft , hub carriers are great strengthening upgrades. the 17mm hex conversion helps me with the amount of power I'm putting in it and my tire selection is larger. Upper A- arms adds adjustability to for camber as well. Top plate and bell crank is for bling.. I will be upgrading the diff housing to billet next.. building an on-road open field running tank.
@mattster1972 ай бұрын
Gorgeous Omni man. I am upgrading mine and love those tires. What kind are they? Also, did you have trouble getting the steering post screws out? mine stripped. now I gotta slot them and its going to be a pain. I also had to use a teflon washer that I use on my Traxxas cars. Replaced the metal washer with the teflon which was a tiny thicker and it removed the slop for me.
@MrMeDos2 ай бұрын
Thanks man. These tires are from powerhobby.com. They are “belted” heck no they are not. The balloon just as much as the stock. But pretty cool to run onroad. No issues with hubs on mine. Just the slop from converting it to 17mm hex, that i didnt like.
@1980VINZ4 ай бұрын
9:12 Do you usually prefer spool than center diff ? Or that was just for having a different gearing option? Thanks mate (and sorry if my English isn’t good sometimes, not my mother language)
@MrMeDos4 ай бұрын
i prefer spool to be honest, center diff is great for off roading, but a lot of my builds are on road bashers, i let the front and rear diffs do the work. but my my losi five-t's and five-b have center diff lockers, and a few of my other 5th scales as well or the center diff has 20mil fluid. but for the terminator i wanted Mod 1 gearing and a spool, not as small as a 33T prolly a 40 or 42. Its crazy fast, too fast.
@skyhawk215 ай бұрын
Is your factory drive shaft straight?? Want to mail it out? Maybe? Also did your stock tires wobble? Don’t understand why mine do and drive shaft wobbles when moving car by hand back and forward. Trying to figure out before maybe sending back… or maybe it’s the cups off centered for center diff and front diff? Mine is rtr so how hard to get it apart?! @9:10 yours wobbles too but from cup and center spool so maybe on my it’s a cup and center or front diff

@MrMeDos5 ай бұрын
Lmao. I knew it was M1. I think i saw it somewhere on there. Im down to a 21T pinion. My gearing was way to aggressive for my esc and it kept going into protection after 2-3 runs. Temps in the 200.. that was with a 27t pinion and 33t spur with the mamba x esc . I really like the size of that esc it fits perfect. So i geared down and its still stupid fast.. its a 100mph setup easy if i could ever get it to that fast and straight without crashing. Lol.

@@MrMeDos so I've never changed a gear before besides opinions but from what I read this thing on a 6S 33 T spur gear and 16 gear pinion it would have to be an absolute nutcase car LOL
