You need to feed your pets an "element charge" of their corresponding element at 2:31 you can see how to deduce a pets element. When killing Lycanite mobs you'll often get "charges" of their corresponding element: killing a Jengu(a water elemental) will give you a water element charge Each charge you feed a pet gives 50xp and each subsequent level your pet has it will require an additional 250xp on top of it's initial 1000xp lvl 3 pets will require 1000(default xp price) + 250x2(because of it's level) = 1500xp to level up your lvl3 pet to lvl 4

This guide was great! First great pet guide to RLCraft I’ve found! I’ve got a Roc, which I retired when I got an Epion, which is still my primary mount despite obtaining a Cacodemon. I use the Cacodemon in the Nether, and as a backup for when my Epion goes down. However, I’m looking to soon get a Hippogriff or an Amphithere. I don’t fare well against dragons with my current flying mounts, and fighting them on foot is actually easier for me at the moment. The Epion is barely not mobile enough, and the Cacodemon really is only fast when moving straight ahead. When farming for XP and rare drops like some Ankh Charm components, the Cacodemon is too destructive, and my bow has the Repulsion enchantment... it’s practically impossible to aim when even the mount you’re riding on is affected by Repulsion. So what do I use ten soul points on for ground combat? Well... five Gnekks. I used to use two Chupacabras, but five Gnekks is somehow amazing. They tear through everything really, really quickly, like scissors through paper. I’ve got iron pet armor on four of them, and the last one wears diamond. And like any good RLCraft beastmaster, I use a saber (rapiers also work). Had it not been for this guide, I wouldn’t have even considered taming a Gnekk in the first place.

That other modrok sized dragon that hangs out by the ocean and kinda looks like a pterodactyl has the ability to pick up the biggest creatures including arisaurs. Get this guy and you can grab any animal and bring it too your base instead of luring them with food.

Amphithere's are super super super good if u can find them(they're rare and only spawn in certain jungles) but they're by far the fastest flying mount in the game(the ventoraptor is faster on the ocean tho). They're basically a permenently rocket boosted elytra that are perfect for flying point a to b. downsides tho are that u cant sit still with them, cant soul stone them, and they're pretty fuckin rare.

They're actually very plentiful, they spawn in large groups, the only issue, as you said, is having to find the correct biome. Since they're not "controllable" you can only really use them for long-distance travel and at that point, I think you're better off using a waystone network, but they're pretty cool "exotic" mounts.

Set your Quetzodracl to "passive" or "defensive" By using the grab ability on the animal you make the AI think you're attacking it and therefore it ends up killing whatever you were carrying.

You probably already know this but just to clarify for anyone else that might read this: Assist makes your pet only attack creatures that have damaged/attacked you or that you have attacked/damaged (by picking the animal up you "attack" it so your pet finishes the job and "assists" you in killing it)

2.9 made huge changes to mounts, now you need specific saddle types for each mount "species" avians need avian saddles, dragons need dragon saddles, and so on

quetzal dragon is also rly fcking good since ypu can pick up and throw away battle tower golems and loot the tower ez also note that if you have a rare variant of any pet, it will be "immortal" this is bcs for some reason they will gain more than 2x hp when they take dmg, making it almost impossible to die.

Dragon's nests arn't the only place to get manuscripts (though it is the best place to get them). Manuscripts also appear in cyclops caves

imma be honest here. i tend to rely on Wargs because they paralyze things. do you know how useful that is when fighting dragons? it can't pick you up or fly away if it's paralyzed.

I got an abberation mount from a soul stone in a server but i cant summon it, i kept pressing summon and teleport but he didnt appear. Why is that?

There are 2 options: 1. you already have an active summon and you don't have enough spirit left to summon your aberration mount 2. It's a lycanites bug: your mount is summoned, the spirit cost is being applied but you can't see the mount. In that case, you need to de-summon it, and any other active mounts, then try re-summoning them.

Have you tried using the soulgazer or taming it? I'm not certain on the details but you need to be relatively close to a mob for your knowledge rank to increase. If you already tamed one or used a soulgazer and the knowledge rank still didn't increase then there must be some kind of installation issue. I don't think it's directly caused my CurseForge, but you should still try uninstalling and re-installing

With only a 2% damage increase, visually you'll only see a higher number if your pet does 50 damage (2% of 50 = 1 more damage) anything below that will only be a decimal (that doesn't get displayed).

You missed the cockatrice I have a lvl 8 it's a big chicken it takes 8 spirit to summon though and you can fly on it I think it causes paralysis when it pecks and it's considered a dragon for some reason

I didn't list all Lycanites mobs, just the ones I thought would be the most useful. Although the cockatrice is probably the strongest standalone flying mount, due to the spirit cost I think you're better off just getting multiple other combat pets instead of 1 single cockatrice, but that's just my opinion of course. They're fairly easy to tame since, at least in RLCraft's case, you find them contained and "restrained" in a dungeon, but they aren't really practical (mostly because of their size) you could probably only use them in a 1vs1 fight against other dragons but you'd still need to have the affront be on land and at that point, there are better combinations to deal with it, at least in my opinion

Level doesnt affect size. When you make your own fused elementals they are a lot larger than natural elementals. I have a lvl 20 afrit and it is the same size as when it was lvl 1

You can't enchant pet armor unfortunately (wolf armor works, but lifesteal is a weapons-only enchantment)

Sizes can slightly vary, in my case that was just the first pinky that spawned, but I've had other cases where the mobs are abnormally small. It's just how they spawn so you can change it, but some mobs get larger the higher their level (I think just elementals though)

When I was in my base an Dragon Event start and for my luck have enough treats to tame two Dragons. I was so lucky :3 PD: Do u know how to increase your pets lvl? I have a Black Dragon lvl 10 (Tamed today) but the others are lvl 1 and We was trough dungeons killing mobs xd

Not sure what "Black Dragon" is but if you mean a morock then feed it "order" charges to level him up You need to feed your pets an "element charge" of their corresponding element at 2:31 you can see how to deduce a pets element.

Rank 3 is currently only obtainable via commands but will eventually be learnable via special Knowledge items (most likely the soul gazer)

If you soulbind them they heal on their own, otherwise just use a nymph, but feeding them should also work

Lord Angrim I tried feeding them and idk how to I been trying too but it only does is feed me The flat world is not giving me much diamonds to work here....

​@@minebloxian3647 I actually went and looked it up and feeding does not work :/ They do however passively heal but it's so slow that it's not something you can count on.. you're pretty much forced to use a nymph or a healing potion

Go mining in a cave, tons of "darkness mobs" drop enderpearls

@@LordAngrim Thats right. I also think that if anyone wants to get a certain item or drop, killing a lot of stuff would probably solve the problem, as most lyncanite mobs have very useful drops. For example, if i ever needed bones in my world, i would go on a rampage. Like, literally everything drops bones. If you want ender pearls, i think amalgalich is a good idea!... (its a joke)

It might sound vague but by "darkness mobs" I mean the creatures that spawn if you stay in the dark for too long. You could pretty much farm them by just standing still in the dark. Going mining is simply to not waste time by "just standing still in a dark corner".

Go into any mineshaft, stick around for long enough and you'll start encountering Banshees. Theese fuckers are absolutely horrible to fight against because of them inflicting the "Fear" effect on hit, but they drop ender pearls and obsidian on death.
