The double meaning with the words "still life" is just blowing my mind. And the parallel made with a painting ? Genius. "My life's on display" like a painting, a painting is always on display to be shown. Still Life, it's still life yk ? But it's also [a] still life, "still life but I'm movin" yup you're still but still moving, and its still life but I'll keep going. And the train represent perfectly the still life. You're still but moving toward your next step ! Namjoon is such a genius

And it's especially incredible when you think about the fact that English isn't even RM's native language. A lot of people have trouble making wordplay in a second language, but it never stops him. I totally agree with Blaze in RM's growth as a person and artist. I feel the same about J-Hope and Jin as well. Despite watching them develop over a decade, we never really knew them. I think Jin said it best that the guys really held themselves back as individuals to give their full selves to BTS. These solo projects feel like a breath of fresh air because the guys are taking that first breath into their own. It's exciting to imagine what the future BTS will be - considering what we've received thus far, the world won't handle what's coming.

Still Life was inspired by still life art, he realized that even though the paintings were done 100's of years ago we still enjoy them, like a flower painting (he uses) it still is enjoyed even though the world moves on and that particular flower died because it is a still life painting it continues to live and move on through history and future. I love this kind of stuff.

I am 22, and I can see myself 5 years from now, desperately listening to Indigo as a healing therapy💜....20s are the time were you struggle the most in your life, trying to figure out the right path...and Just like RM once said in a VLive- In your twenties, you struggle alot, working hard, were your branches are cut down, you fall and rise up, getting wounded countless times. Idk why but this song and MV reminds me of middle school in the late 90s and just watching and getting excited for MVs on MTV and the actual feeling of when MVs mattered and effort was put into them. Still life: don´t matter bad things this is still life and we are alive. Sill life: sometimes you are stuck but you have to keep moving. And then this multiverse concept that Kim Namjoon always thinks about. He said this is his best version. Kim Namjoon is giving us the best Christmas present.

Blaze, I said the same thing that I am proud of RM. He seems like he's in such a good place right now. And I've been saying that before the Busan concert. Just watching and observing his calmness and dancing in peculiar settings for no reason. For me it means you are comfortable in your skin. Thank you heaps! For me this video really emphasized another interpretation of Still Life that "life can be still" meaning there are moments in life that can be considered "on hold or pauses" eg in our day to day activities- as simple as waiting for our takeaway coffee order at a cafe, or a standstill during heavy traffic during rush hour, or maybe something lifechanging that halts our momentum eg losing one's job, change in careers or even a sad event like losing loved ones but we weather these challenges still doing our best to move forward and live meaningful lives. Because we are still alive / still among the living. Taking it further, cultivating an inner stillness (calm or serene spirit) leads to growth (moving forward in consciousness or mindfulness). 😉 Thank you Namjoon for making us really think about "still life" which can have so many interpretations not only referring to images of inanimate objects in paintings. Brilliant!

Feeling “proud” is exactly what all of us feel for every accolade they receive especially after what they had to go through to get where they are today. Seeing Jin today with a military haircut made me feel empty yet extremely proud.
