David my bestie, what do I owe the pleasure? Hoping you are keeping well in the absence of event attending as we by in large have a long wait until the Detling event even though I have got the remote possibility of attending an event before the Detling one but it was a fantastic event worth attending as it usually is being that of the London to Brighton Veteran Car Run itself but most importantly did you have a nice time riding on the route 701 before its route postponement and alongside your time attending the Brighton MRC Model Rail 2024 event a couple of weeks ago? Do take care best friend David, all the best to you 🙂. From your friend Foxy in Brighton, East Sussex, England, UK 🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂.

Thanks for your comment Foxy. As you say, that's it for event attending for this year. It will all kick off again around April time once the days are longer and the weather hopefully milder once more. Yes, I enjoyed the last ride on the 701 though can't help but wonder if it might return sometime with a revised route taking in Lewes to some extent. Made a change travelling along to Patcham on the 5/5A that day too as I don't get to ride the 400ER's that much. One place due to reopen next year is Newhaven Fort, so will be keeping my eyes on their website for news. They did have some special event days for cars there in the past so hopefully that trend will continue. All the best for now.

Thanks for your comment Dave. There aren't so many vidoes en route, which is a shame really as the cars pass through some very scenic areas on their journey. Never-the-less, keep your eyes open for the next few days as hoipefully more videos may get posted.

myself does wonder how they make it from point a. to point b. without stopping at a fuel station?

There are various stopping points en route I believe, check out the appropriate website for the details. Likewise, I'd imagine many of the cars have to stop at their own selected points too. Great to see them in action and for the time being the event seems to be going from strength to strength. Had a very pleasant few hours watching them at Old Steine and Madeira Drive.
