I cannot be more appreciative of the fact that there are others out there that reacted to this song the same way I did. This song hit a nerve and I was not ready for how it affected me. Been through a lot this year, and this song made me feel like it is OK to let the grief and sadness that I have been burying and hiding for so long, finally rise up and break the surface.

This album includes vocals from THREE women over 40! Youjeen, Park Ji-Yoon, and of course Erykah Badu. I've been listening to Indigo over and over, interspersed with dives into the music of these three singers. I'm a BTS fan in my 40s, and, vicariously, I feel so RESPECTED by this album.

Yay! A 40+ army! I sometimes wonder if I'm awkward for being a BTS fan. But they've inadvertently done so much for me, how could I not love them. I also cried when I saw this the first time. The absolute raw emotional honesty on display here is a sight to behold. That young man is inspirational. His way with words has moved me from the moment I found him. It breaks my heart knowing he was being suffocated by the trappings of fame while trying to pursue his dream and stay true to himself. I feel so blessed to be able to both feel and understand him through his lyricism. This song is so beautiful. The whole album is a work of art. It's been on continuous loop since i got it. Got me curious about Youjeen because her vocals on this are insane.

As a 57 yr old West Indian Army Mom. Who discovered them in 2016…just before they blew up in the states? Starting with The Ellen Show. Having seen and delved into all their ‘Shows’….from Run BTS. My fave over the past 8 yrs have always been ‘In The Soop’. Honest behind the scenes…footage. They simply fly BTS to a Country. From Malta to New Zealand. Drop them off. Is HILARIOUS…watching them divvy the bedrooms with their ‘Rock Paper etc’. My point was. No lie. Despite my age. Bawled my arse off first time it dropped. Was so heart felt…RM being vulnerable. Telling his truth. Although he did the same YEARS AGO with ‘Forever Rain’…..which funny enough…..never got as many views or press as this one did. Pity. Even back then….YEARS AGO. HE was already speaking of his feelings and……feeling sympathy. For those in his Country who walked the streets……alone. Feeling the same sense of loneliness with an anonymous stranger in Seoul. My point is: Millions of us cried - around the 🌎. When it dropped. And we Army have always said: When you laugh? We’ll laugh alongside you. When you cry……you’ll never cry alone. This song literally knocked the wind out of me when I watched the MV for the first time. I’ve had a very hard year, the most difficult in my life, and I’m 38, so I think I’m facing a harsh, yet transformative, involuntary reset/reevaluation of my life at the same time. This song, the lyrics, Youjeen’s plaintive and raw chorus spoke directly to how I’ve been feeling these past few years. It was cathartic and gratifying for me to hear the inner struggles of someone so different from me, yet who is seemingly going through similar inner struggles.

"fireworks".. are flashy and beautiful that light up the sky, but fireworks.. disappear after the explosion. flower petals, when thrown into the sky - a "flower work" if u will, is also beautiful..but they scatter in the sky and dont instantly disappear - they linger.. and they cover the ground once the flowerwork in the sky is over. the flower field is where RM is... when he's getting lost in the fireworks and feel like he's about to disappear with the pressure, the anxiety.. the exhaustion. so when u're about to lose yourself, when ur dreams devour u, when your feet dont touch the ground, remember... you're in teh flower field... with the flower works. you're not going to disappear with a bang.. but u'll water the ground with your petals.. with your colors. you have meaning in this world.

Hi V. OMG V. Hope you're taking care my friend. 💜 I'm already getting emotional please bare with me lol still going through it. There was an interpretation I liked that an ARMY mentioned in the way Joon connected wildflowers and fireworks, how both are similar yet different. Wildflowers blooms don't last very long, much like fireworks explode in the sky, but also only briefly. So she said that wildflowers are the introverted versions of fireworks, whereas we know, fireworks are a spectacle. Wildflowers bloom quietly. From her idea of fireworks and wildflowers, I see Bangtan as fireworks and Joon wants to grow as a person, as a wildflower in this sense, not so much in the spotlight. 😭😭 There were so many parts in the MV I loved: the flower field, the fireworks, the purple-lighted stage 🤧, and towards the end it's like he's singing at the top of his lungs in the middle of nowhere, just to tell the world he wants to grow like a wildflower. Visually, the MV is stunning just as was the guy in it (I was blushing when he stared into my soul); lyrically, ugh he's still the poetically lyrical genius I fell for. Don't get me started on the album. That's another thing!!

Frustrated bc we let RM down with Sexy Nukim and he got 9.4M views today and we could've definitely given him at least 10M views today if so many people didn't rush and post distracting reactions to this and his Tiny Desk concert today

I understand that we want the numbers to protect them and meet goals, but there were so many ARMY who needed to process the mv on their own time. I could only see the mv once every hour because I would cry my eyes out each time for the first dozen hours. Let’s go for longevity, friends. 💜

@@reirarei3303 yes! it was right around the corner. but the media usually publicizes/discusses how many in the first day, the debuts for butter / ptd were so high, it hasn't been the same for their solo stuff but i at least wished it could be above 10M since Hobi's first day views for More and arson were both above 10M. RM has always taken so many backseats from the extra responsibilities, even once i noticed in a photo (usually he'd be in the back row if two rows) that they scaled him down.... and his height is his favorite feature! even in Festa he talked about how he felt he just did all his [extra] duties and the others would be shining as great performers. i really wanted him to know how much we support him, he even said words in the tiny desk concert, to please support him
