RM50 fuel challenge in the Nissan Almera Turbo - AutoBuzz

How to find that extra KM with only RM50 of fuel? We are here to help! In this special episode we filled up two Nissan Almera 1.0L Turbo with only RM50 of Shell FuelSave 95. With the right fuel and cars to do the job, it now depends on the drivers. We sent GC and Eu Jin off to visit touristy destinations, take some really nice photos, and post them on Instagram - with our guests Hanli and Janny taking over @autobuzzmy Instagram account. So, with only RM50 of fuel, how far can they go? How much fun can they have? Which team will get the most likes for their photos? Let's buckle up and off we go! Entertaining but i felt a lot can be done, there could be a mini podcast and banters between the host and guest with a couple hundred miles of drive clock in, since assuming both are from different world. Will be interesting to really find the conversation that bridge a car enthusiast and an influencer or normal everyday people meaning in a way a win win situation can come out of it, the host can plug Nissan and Shell in with the conversation whilst we the viewer get the influencer to plug in more about themselves and siphon away to their instagram. I felt also the Instagram challenge is very corporate ish, perhaps its an ask from Nissan or Shell but a an alternative way in my nobody asked opinion, i felt we could have some deeper conversation going on, with those hundred of KM, there's a lot to banter and alot of deep dive worth of conversation. Technical wise, perhaps data on hill drive, highway drive, traffic drive and switch them between trip abc and tabulate to get average so we get a sense, its abit of a hassle but thats just what i'm personally interested in, did you put the aircond to the lowest? medium or high? How was the feel of the car? I mean we could have the guest test drive the car and get their honest reaction especially when the Turbo kick in above 2400RPM, like how its effortless when wanting to overtake i think thats something we can relate. Missed opportunity but i love you guys, hence this feedback. Take care guys.

usually filling up full tank can affect fuel consumption? heard that its not good to leave fuel tank at low level, is dat true?

Yes Kassie, not recommended to refuel only when the fuel indicator has been blinking, it could damage your fuel system component. But i recommend you to use fuel that has good additive to protect your car's engine, fuel system, for me i use 95 shell, if your engine is maintained in good condition, fuel consumption also will be improved.

I chouldnt belief it myself driving d almera from penang island to kuantan just rm50..driving speed around 100-130km/hr...slow moderate speed with aircond on at 22C...

it's just a BLUFF OR STUPID INFO...! Honda 1.5 SUV turbo " running at 5000 RPM THE FUEL CONSUMPTION LIKE SHIT ...WAJA 1.5 USING TURBO FULL FUEL TANK 105 RM " ONLY CAN GET 300 KM AT 5000 RPM ...ALMERA 50 RM WITH TURBO RUNNING AT 5000 RPM , THE MOST YOU CAN GET IS 280 KM , UNLESS YOU RUNNING AT 3000 RPM MAY BE YOU CAN GET MORE ...! History shows what happened to teranno , Murano , cefiro , fairlady , x- trail , navada , Serena highway , livina , latio , Sentra , march , etc " ALMERA is just the bread and butter of Nissan just in Malaysia only , if no ALMERA Nissan might long long ago closed down .
