Is this jacket designed to be worn over my offroad armor? I want to wear all my normal body armor under my jersey and have a jacket I can throw on over when its cold and easily strip off when I warm up later in the day.

Hi, I don't get the difference between this one and the soft shell legion. Is this one cooler and the other warmer? I'm trying to decide which one to buy but they all seem the same to me

The soft shell uses a different outer material that is a little softer and it also has a fleece lining inside of it. The Legion is made from ripstop cordura which is a more durable fabric and doesn't have the fleece lining. In my opinion, if you want a jacket you can wear as just a casual jacket that is great for cooler weather, I'd get the soft shell. The non soft-shell is more durable, has armor pockets, is a little lighter, and overall I would say is a little better for riding scenarios. I have the soft shell and I've been really happy with it. - Chase

will this jacket abrasion protect me when crash on asphalt on around 70mph?

This jacket is more meant for off-road riding so no, I would not recommend this for the street if you want abrasion protection from asphalt.
